Parler Is Inept! I'm Done With Social Sites

This after over 50 rejections of what I typed in.

So I tried to join Parler. Their requirements for a password are as follows,

Use eight or more characters with at least one capital letter, lowercase letter, number, and special character.

So I did as they required. Yet, I was denied my chosen password 35 times before they accepted this password,

Which begs the question, why did they deny this one,

Now consider this password they suggested I use

aCb-1fd3-Q!&m

Yet they rejected over 35 passwords I offered that were very similar to the one they suggested.

Finally a password I offered to their password god was accepted. So now I was onto typing the letters from the Captcha so they will know I am a real human. I figure I'm in like Flynn now.

Not so fast.

For the next 15 minutes, and after well over 50 or more tries, I could never get them to accept what I typed in. Now I'm used to captcha being used. After all, seems like 99% of the places you go to join, or when you order things online, you have to match the characters offered to prove your are human.

Well, after many moons (seemed like) of trying to get past the captcha menu, I finally took a screen print to prove to my wife that it's not me but their stupid software. After all, she was already getting tired of listening to me yelling at the monitor during my attempts to get a password accepted. Now this.

Mind you, she knows the troubles I have at with fb. So she has been pushing me to leave fb and join a different Social site that will allow it's users the freedom to share what they want and believe what they want. Well, I finally decided to join one. Then this happens.

So, since Parler will not allow me to join their site, I will not waste any more of my time trying. Their ineptitude is beyond rediculous.

I am fed up with these Social sites. I will not be joining Parler, because they won't let me. I'm finished with fb, since I refuse to waist any more of my time on posting things that less than 1% of my friends ever even see. I only have about 1200 friends anymore. I used to have almost 5000 friends, but I was suspended many times, had my account terminated a few times, and now everything I post gets shadow blocked, or removed for violating their rules. You know, the one's that say you can only share immoral communist propoganda ideas?

Well, they Win. I'm out of there. Goodby and good riddance to these moronic social sites. My experience is that Facebook is nothing more than a wing of the Democrat Party, and Parler sucks for their ineptitude.

They can all take a hike......

I had no problems signing up for Parler or the Captchas.

The only thing I didn’t like is the foul mouthed leftests.

BUT...Parler had both mute and block buttons. So I just mute them.

I tried many times to fix it but nothing. I’m through!

I have suffered similar experiences using Parley.

Sometimes I can login, and sometimes the login process freezes at the user/password screen.

So, I give up and try again later.

My Android phone has not trouble logging in — don’t do anything but start the App, and I’m in !! (NO security there!).

I have complained several times via the support@parley.com email address at the bottom of their homepage, but NEVER have received a response.

Their window of opportunity to become the conservative alternative to Facebook will only last so long.

I’m already looking for a better alternative.

Can’t really tell if that F on the end is meant to be a capital or lowercase.

Oddly enough it does not require you to match lower case letters. Just do it all in uppercase and it works.

Depends on the font. The F looks a little like Lucida Handwriting Font to me. That is why they subscript the lower case, to remove the confusion over the crazy way they show characters in those stupid things.

Have you looked into online community forums? Like phpbb (build your own, you’re the admin). Or Mybb. I believe they’re free. And there’s vBulletin.
They get as serious and thoughtful as you want them to be, and as far as I know, you’re not going to be monitored by anyone.

NO, if you go check what they do. They have lower case a’s as big as the uppercase A’s

they have upper case Q’s.as small as lower case q’s

The size of the character in captchas are always large or small. The size matters not. I know, I buy many things online and I am very familiar with captchas and their proclivities.

I have programed this crap. It is their stupid software.

I just signed up, and I am already in. So try it. I'll know eventually how good it is, but signed up with out a glitch.

Their 2-step is the most inept I have ever seen on any major social media site. The search, either from inside or outside, is unacceptably bad.

Look at the line going through the f, that makes it lower case. If it were an uppercase F, the line would stop and not go through. Size of the character matters not, because there are lower case a’s that are as larger and sometimes larger than uppercase A’s in the same captcha

Tried that and it still did not work, but you are correct, most do not distinguish, but a lot of them these days do.
