What if meteorologists gave honest weather reports? It would probably go something like this...

Dude’s a comedian. Probably need to label this with satire.

Entertaining. But seems staged.
The talking rectum-ette in the studio was obviously reading prepared questions off a TelePrompTer that played right into his responses.
But, like I said, entertaining.

I think the title is wrong. It should probably read ex-weatherman. 8>)
Did he not see what weathermen do before he spent 120,000 on his education? 8>)
Also, was he required to wear what he wore, or was that his choice? 8>)

The local ‘news’ channels are for morons. They have so little content as to be useless. A simple traffic accident has to be stated 10 times in 10 different ways.
Typical traffic report on local news: “There is an accident at I-25 and Yale in the right lane. See, here, in the right lane there is an accident. That is the right lane ay I-25 and Yale, near Hamden, and it is blocked. The emergency crews are there for that accident in the right lane at I-25 and Yale. Be careful at I-25 and Yale where this accident is blocking the right lane. Traffic is backed up all the way to Hamden for this accident in the right lane at I-25 and Yale.”

Love it! I’m often harping on meteorologists because of how poor their forecasting is. They are some of the only people who can be wrong 90% of the time and still keep their jobs!

Here in Phoenix, snow is the least of our concerns, as it can get pretty hot here, as this report will attest to:

That is hilarious!!
Best rant since Santelli’s rant in Wall Street that started the Tea party movement.

This is John Crist who came to fame as a stand up comedian satirizing current protestant worship styles. There is much truth in his commentaries. Crist’s father is a very well known pastor (Baptist, I think) in Georgia.

Probably so. But it’s funny nonetheless.

I'd hire him so fast to be my weatherman. He's telling the truth and I like it.
We all have seen how ridiculous presenting the weather has become.
With their ridiculousness they have led many to believe that the victims of weather events are exaggerating because they're not close to the events. They live in luxury compared to those that have water in their homes or the roof torn off.
You can actually see on their faces how excited they are over hurricanes so they can get out there and see if the wind will knock them over.
The standing in water while the flood is coming and they're actually standing in a ditch far away from the real flooding that is taking place.
The weather channel has become a joke and it's their own fault.

I dumped television back in 1997. Around 2005 I got a job where I travelled around the country and was exposed to a lot of local news in hotel rooms. My takeaway was that the report as if their audience is in 7th grade. All of ‘em.
