I’ve taken a train into DC twice from IL. Once for the huge Promisekeepers gathering on the mall around 1997 in the summer, and once for GW Bush’s 2001 Inauguration. The Potomac was a deep emerald green color set against the snow-covered terrain and really stood out visually.

Too bad the movement ended.

Epoch Times is fast rising as one of our greatest allies. Did you see the credits? Mostly ethnic Chinese names. I think they are freedom fighters and likely dissidents that walked the walk and somehow escaped from China or have parents that did and are 100% grateful for the American ideas of liberty and freedom.

That Promisekeeper gathering was one for the ages. It really WAS a million man march. I prostrated myself on the ground and I can honestly say that I have never done that before that day and never since. In remembrance, I am at a loss for words... I honestly have to stop and take a break. I’ll be back later, or maybe I won’t.
