I’m shaking my head.
When I lived there, going out to watch the Marfa lights was a great past time. Scientists came from all over to try and figure them out. We’d tell them it’s Chief Cochise’s campfire but they wouldn’t believe us.
Big Bend isn’t a popular crossing for illegals, too many natural barriers.
Thanks.
"think"? Maybe he should find out for sure. Did he give a reason why he thinks this way? It doesn't seem to me there are many crimes more important than stealing a US Presidential election.
The Gov't can do no-knock raids for drug possession, but can't seize voting machines? Seems odd.
I went to https://www.aoc.gov/explore-capitol-campus/art/statuary-hall-collection-by-location It states that ‘The National Statuary Hall Collection in the United States Capitol Building is comprised of statues donated by individual states to honor persons notable in their history. The entire collection now consists of 100 statues contributed by 50 states.’
I guess the states own the statues, since they donated them.
Robert E. Lee is no longer listed on the website. I used the Wayback Machine and found it was still listed as of 12/19/20, so his listing was removed in the past day or 2.
Liver for Christmas dinner for you!!
Pictures of today’s progress on roof are up on FB if you want to take a peek. At this rate they’ll be finishing up on Wednesday.

“Never name an animal you’re going to eat.”
What if I name them bacon, pork chop, cacciatore, parmigiana, Etc.?
“He’s as solid as a rock.”
I’m so glad to hear you say that. As it gets closer and closer I think our options get less and less. But it’s good to hear Pence is solid from an Insider :-) or several Insiders.
Good post.
Gag.
Even when I was ghostly anemic, I wasn’t sick enough to make liver taste good. That stuff is nasty!
“Wood sure isn’t a coward.”
Definitely not. I would imagine his career is writing on the election outcome. LOL, and if anybody knows about defamation suits, it is him. They don’t dare bring a lawsuit, they are just bluffing. As he said before, everything will come out in Discovery and that can only benefit Trump.
Excited to see hm house with roof.
Very.
Cologard cost you $28?
Maybe I was misinformed. I hope so!
“Alpine gets about 17 inches of rain per year.”
Wow, that’s a lot for the Texas desert. Although I guess it’s High Desert, or maybe even mountainous. That would be enough to grow crops!
Insane.

“Doctor, as a title, originates from the Latin word of the same spelling and meaning.[1] The word is originally an agentive noun of the Latin verb docēre [dɔˈkeːrɛ] ‘to teach’. It has been used as an honored academic title for over a millennium in Europe, where it dates back to the rise of the first universities. This use spread to the Americas, former European colonies, and is now prevalent in most of the world. Contracted “Dr” or “Dr.”, it is used as a designation for a person who has obtained a doctorate-level degree. Doctorates may be research doctorates or professional doctorates.”
“A doctorate is an academic or professional degree that, in most countries, qualifies the holder to teach at the university level in the degree’s field, or to work in a specific profession. In some countries, the highest degree in a given field is called a terminal degree. Many universities award “honorary doctorates” to individuals who have been deemed worthy of special recognition, either for scholarly work or for other contributions to the university or to society.”

“The word doctor is Latin for teacher and originally meant someone who was a distinguished teacher. You can read about the history of the title here: Doctor (title). In modern usage, it is applied to anyone who holds a doctorate, the highest academic degree in a field, from a university. A PhD (an initialism for the Latin “Philosophiae Doctor”, or “Doctor of Philosophy” in English) degree is one such doctorate. There are other types of doctorates, such as Doctor of Law, Doctor of Theology, etc. The common usage of “doctor” to mean physician comes from the fact that physicians are required to have medical doctorates in order to become licensed medical practitioners.”

Unfortunately WE have been led to think that calling someone DOCTOR meant that they were MD’s and practiced medicine. But as you see you can have a doctorate in many different fields. It depends on if you have enough education to get that degree.
But for HER to INSIST on being addressed as Dr. Jill Biden is pure SNOBBERY.
