Took it a bit to register, but....
Assuming this quote is accurate, the SC was anticipating riots if they took up/made a decision on Texas v Pennsylvania.
Only the left would have rioted if the ruling wasn't in their favor. The right would have demonstrated, but not rioted.
Which tells me they anticipated the ruling to be that Texas won and Pennsylvania ultimately would go for Trump or not count at all, preventing Biden from getting to 270.

Re: Trump solicitations. I wasn’t paying attention and there was a box already filled out with a donation amount that was in the thousands. I wanted a blank slate and in a momentary lapse in cognitive skills I hit the donate button THINKING I was going to go to a clean donation page. Nope! My account was immediately debited but thankfully there wasn’t sufficient funds to cover the withdrawal. I considered myself lucky because it almost emptied out my checking account. I was furious and consider the whole process disingenuous.
I too had to find out the hard way that there were two tiny boxes already filled out, one indicating that I wanted to make weekly donations in the same amount as what I was going to initially make, and another that would be a one time additional donation. The surreptitious part was that unless you scrolled down the page you didn’t see these contributions, and, it was next to impossible to figure out how to make them go away, which is more EQUINE FECAL MATTER!
I started reading the fine print and with each new text asking for money I noticed that there is a percentage split between Trump’s org. and the RNC. Some are overwhelming in favor of the RNC, percentage wise. THIS too makes me FURIOUS. SAD that it has come to this. Needless to say, but I have since sent ZERO funds in to the Trump campaign. If I send any MORE money in, it will be a money order mailed ONLY to the Trump org. I’m kind of upset that I have to WORK to donate to POTUS. A$$HOLES!
One of my elderly friends sends in hundreds of dollars a month, when in fact he is being fooled by similar tactics. He receives swag, which fools him, and he continues donating, unaware of his manipulation, thinking he is helping POTUS. He becomes defensive when I try to educate him and by warning him off of his misguided endeavors. One of the orgs. is the RNSC- the Republican National Senate Committee. Lots of really bold literature comes in the mail with the requests. He gave me a “challenge coin” that he didn’t want, with Ronna McDaniels image on one side. Like I want a challenge coin with Ronna McDaniels on one side. GRRR! SAD!

The more we turn out to vote, the more they cheat. They have taken away the ballot box. And every legal recourse seems blocked by spineless judges, at best. It appears that most Republicans legislators are happy to lick the feet of their dem masters. We do not riot, but I hope the American public does not just take it and slink away.

I have done my civic duty and voted in every election, local,state and Federal since 1972.
My mother and all four of my grandparents were immigrants to this land, and in my family, it would be unthinkable NOT to vote.
But my eyes have been opened.
I realize that we have been manipulated and votes stolen since at least 1992, when Bubba was “elected”.
I realize now that the Clintons, Bushes and Obamas were all part of the same cabal.
Trump was the only one since Reagan who worked for the American people.
So, yeah, I feel foolish as well.
I look back at all we have gone through since Papa Bush’s new world order speech in 1990, and I feel like it has been all one, long, mind control game to these clowns in DC.
Well, it is going to stop, one way or another.
Either Trump pulls this off, or we have another civil war.
Either a little pain, or a LOT of pain.
But pain is coming to America.
