I am totally confused about this. Back in the late 60’s early 70’s there was a big scare on the Swine flu. We were encouraged to get vaccinated for it. So being young and the scare tactics used my whole family was vaccinated. They used a vaccine gun.
Progress! I wonder how much it costs.

I think that was the 1976 swine flu, under Gerald Ford.
