I haven't watched any of his testimony/interviews, just read transcript snips here. I was taking it as he would finish up the delivery when he came back into work the next day (otherwise, why pay attention to whether or not the trailer was still there and to think it was stolen?) so there would be no reason to hand it off to someone else. He would have kept the paperwork, locked up for the night, and went home.
But if he was told by dispatch that someone would finish the delivery, then he would have notified dispatch he had left the trailer in the yard. Not sure if there's actual 'paperwork' nowadays or if it's all electronic, but some notification would have happened.
Hope that makes sense; typing in middle of staff meeting. LOL

Honduran migrant caravan heading to US: reports

Hundreds of Hondurans formed a caravan bound for the U.S. on Wednesday after two hurricanes wrecked and flooded areas of Central America last month, according to a report.
The migrants left the northern city of San Pedro Sula on foot for the Guatemalan border after Hurricanes Eta and Iota impacted infrastructure, homes, and crops and killed about 100 people in Honduras.
“We lost everything, we have no choice but to go to the United States,” an unidentified middle-aged man in the caravan told Honduran television, according to Reuters.
The caravan, if it grows, could be the first major one to hit the road since the 2020 presidential election. It’s seen as a new challenge to efforts limiting illegal immigration from Central America ahead of a new administration.
Joe Biden has pledged to abolish many of the immigration policies of President Trump, who is due to leave office on Jan. 20, and had made curbing illegal immigration a top priority.
Jose Luis Gonzalez, a coordinator of the Guatemala Red Jesuita con Migrantes, a non-governmental organization, said many migrants are encouraged to make the trip and test the Biden administration.

Jobless Claims Jump to 853,000, Far Worse than Expected

New weekly jobless claims jumped 137,000 to 853,000 in the week that ended December 5, the Department of Labor said Thursday. That is far worse than expected.
Economists had forecast 724,000. The prior week was initially estimated at 712,000, the first decline after two weeks of rising claims, and was revised up to 716,000. Many economists think that decline was due to the Thanksgiving holiday, when many employers hold back from laying off workers and some workers do not bother applying for benefits until after the holiday.
Jobless claims can be volatile week to week so many economists prefer to look at the four-week average. This rose by 35,000 claims to 776,000.

I watched his testimony and he stated that he was very upset that the trailer was gone as he had hung on to that trailer for quite some time and explained why he liked it.
So he expected it to be where he left it so he could continue using it.

High class neighborhood? LOL, anything but. I’m visiting friends in Kentucky, around Louisville. Now there’s a lot of high class neighborhoods here. In East Tennessee mobiles are mingled with million-dollar homes.
I think you’re right. I was hoping they can do forensic audits on many past elections too.
