It’s just the flu, bro.

Tucker Carlson does good job attacking Fauci and the concept that kids shouldn’t be in school so that they can survive the Coronavirus.

See above - always good to see a politician be a Flubro (Dr Rand Paul)

My opinion on China’s role in the Coronavirus hoax (Flubros may have a variety of opinions on this topic) - 1. It started there in a lab and leaked out by accident and they covered up some of what they knew, 2. I don’t care about number 1 enough to “punish” them.
If it is behaving as a “bioweapon” then that is our doing and not China’s doing. If my neighbor puts a cockroach in my house, and my reaction is to blow up my house, then one can’t therefore claim that it is my neighbor’s fault that I blew up my house. In this analogy the neighbor is China and CV is the cockroach and my house is the USA.
They just purchased president elect Biden thru a fraudulent election by virtue of a fawning media and it's supplicants in social media. On shear scale alone it's the biggest global crime in history and bodes ill for Americans, yourself included. Please stop kneeling at the altar of free trade, it has left you severely damaged.
When you say "our", you mean bought and paid for Chinese agents posing as politicians (see Biden and his son) and not ordinary American citizens.
Correction. ONE of their weapons of choice.
One of many.
Beck mentioned this on a Blaze program last night...
Not so.
It can be, and is, both.
It was 'manufactured' in China with the help of the derp state here in America. It was released intentionally by Chinain order to facilitate the taking down of Donald J. Trump, who poses an extinction level threat to the derp state.
The first case recognized on US soil was the very same day that Pelosi sent the impeachment to the Senate, after holding onto it for no known reason. The rona was the next phase of the coup, and they had to make sure it made it to America before letting go of impeachment, which they knew would fail in the Senate.
So, yea. China is worse than they have ever been. They are going for the takedown of America this time. And this time they mean business.
They have worked hard to get their Manchurian candidate, Leghair Biden into the Presidency.
The rona may be just the flu, but it has historical implications.
Dismiss the heathen Chinee at your peril.
Your fight, and it has always been, was against the derp state's canned and ginned up reaction to the rona. Not the rona itself.
I haven’t heard “somnolent” used since the Eisenhower days.
If your neighbor pays your live-in relatives, your drunken uncle and harpy mother-in-law with money and the promise of power to blow up your house, then it may just be your neighbor's fault.
#NotJustTheChinee
You remember those Happy Days too? :)
MAGA, baby!
Seriously. To say China isn’t our enemy today is something far beyond simply “naive”.
China is our enemy. They want to make the world China. They’re smarter than the Russians ever were and they play the long game. They’ve planned decades in advance and continue to do so. Their plan is to grow into an economic power capable of bending the world to their will. And they’ve seen that trying to play world police or build up nations from rubble just earns you enemies while burning your cash, so they haven’t engaged in any of that. Instead, they’ve established economic footholds in Europe, Africa, and other places around the world designed to inject their products into economies while extracting every precious resource available.
China is enemy number 1 for the US and the western world.
Signed,
Some guy.
Deaths jumped up for a bunch of different places beyond baselines from the previous 5 years all in March/April.
Weekly deaths have been well above the threshold for excess deaths every single week since March. That threshold is taken from looking at previous years week-by-week and stretching historical patterns to account for normal variation. Going beyond that threshold is unusual. But every single week since March we've been way past it.
Deaths for all other causes are normal or slightly higher, so things aren't being taken away from other causes and put into COVID-19.
Seems like we're at about 310,000 deaths above normal so far this year.
Look, the deaths are happening. Let's stop playing that game because it just sounds ridiculous at this point. What we should be focusing on is WHY there have been so many deaths and all the failures in state and local governments making things so much worse than they need to be. I think the key points are policies like forcing nursing homes to accept known-infected patients (this along caused tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths), the failure of state and local governments to do anything to protect vulnerable people, and the panic inspiring lockdowns/shutdowns that drove people en masse into grocery stores and Costco, leading to shortages of some supplies and massive numbers of people in small, confined spaces which pumped up infection numbers.
Focusing on these things makes sense. Trying to live in Fairytaleland where nobody is dying of COVID-19 doesn't. Trying desperately to hold onto that narrative leads to things like attacking doctors who come on here and tell you what they're seeing in their hospitals or attacking people who tell you their family is fighting the disease. Objecting to the political class's failed policies and responses is one thing. Attacking allies for presenting reality is unhelpful to say the least.
Excess deaths are simplistically calculated by the CDC based on a mean number of deaths from the previous few years. Why don’t they have a single actuary employed there to project a demography adjusted normal death rate. My point - Expected deaths were always going to be higher this year due to the mean average age climbing.
It’s just the flu, bro.
That doesn’t make any sense. So you’re saying that the previous 5 years were all in line with the same models used for decades, but this year was always supposed to be special?
Why is this year special that it should be expected to suddenly be so different from every single other year?
And your claim that CDC doesn’t have a single actuary employed is pure speculation. You have no idea whether they’re employing any actuaries.
That this is totally normal?
Nothing unusual about this?
Time to face reality: people are dying and a lot more people are dying than need to because people like Governor Cuomo have completely and utterly failed to do their jobs effectively. The sooner the fantasy that things are all sunshine and rainbows gets dropped, the sooner we can focus on holding these people accountable for what they've done and what they've failed to do.
I am speculating that they don’t have an actuary because no actuary would publicly accept the method they use for expected deaths.
I have been looking for some numbers online but it is a struggle - essentially if there are many countries that show no excess deaths then that bolsters my argument that this isn’t killing as many people as advertised.
There were excess deaths in March, April, May that are clearly seen in the data...since then I am not so sure.
The data continues to show excess deaths every single week this year. The excess deaths in March and April are simply more striking because of the sudden spikes and the fact that everything leading up to March and April was normal baseline numbers. I posted the CDC’s excess deaths chart already (it’s the green and blue one). It comes from this page: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/excess_deaths.htm
It’s important to note that these are NOT CDC’s numbers. These are simply what each jurisdiction (mostly county or city health departments) are reporting up the chain to CDC. CDC just takes all the reporting jurisdictions and compiles those numbers into one handy location for reference. They can be broken down by state and they have CSV files for download with all the reported data for you to look at yourself. I’ve seen no evidence that CDC is doing anything to the numbers. They are (albeit preliminary at this point) what they are.
Yeah, JP is just as regular as K, and was even IBK today.

Many countries, including Germany, have been very flat with respect to excess deaths since April/May.
