Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is known for being a great basketball player. Beyond that, he also seemingly tries to make a positive impact on the world through his various charities and organizations. By all accounts he is a generous person. However, one issue continues to arise – his tipping practices.

Don’t want to sound racist here, so I’ll just ask the fellow bar tenders, waiters and waitresses. What ethnic group tips the best, which one the worst.
My experience latino and Black Americans tip the least, sometimes nothing. I don’t know why this is, as the amount of the tip does not seem to matter if the server is black or latino etc.
LeBron is not a nice person. It wouldn’t surprise me if all these stories come from non-black servers...I suspect he tips generously if the server is black.

Blacks are in general terrible tippers and they are also some of the most demanding customers.

$50 million a year doesn’t go as far as it once did.
My sister worked as a waitress when I star NFL running back can in with his family. They put him in a private room so they could eat in peace and assigned my sister to take care of them.
When he left there was no tip.

Best Tippers: Just the truth...Young Mexicans. No, I don’t know why.
Next Best: Whites. Very close to Mexicans.
WORST tippers: blacks. Really 90 percent NON tippers.
Hispanic non Mexicans..pretty good...not nearly as bad as blacks.
My stomach SANK every time black folks got in the car.
I think the young mexican guys feel like they are loaded and try to impress. That is my thinking for their big tips. Plus maybe they don’t understand how much they’re tipping :)
I tip my drivers two bucks each. They all thank me. I just say you’re welcome and see ya next time. It ain’t a lot, but they appriciate it. Two bucks is two bucks, some customers never tip—bad form, I say... My stuff gets here quick at the correct temperature, it’s all I ask.
