As my title suggests, everyday while browsing through FR and reading some of the threads, sometimes I am up and sometimes I am down. However, I think about something that happened in Maryland back in 1994 that pushes me slightly in the half-empty camp.

Ellen Sauerbrey ran against Paris Glendening (affectionately known as Spendening) for Governor and lost. However, she made the claim that the machines being used were switching votes over to Glendening. Lo and behold, she was able to provide evidence. Then a Maryland court threw her case out because the court stated she provided the evidence a day pass the deadline date, effectively crushing overturning the election. (I am sure there are more specifics - the above is the Reader's Digest version).

Remembering this, I just have the feeling the same thing is going to happen. President Trump, with the aid of his legal team and Sidney Powell, will prove that widespread fraud did in fact occur, and a Federal court and/of the Supreme Court, will come up with some half-assed legal mumbo-jumbo to say it does not count.

Please do not dog me out for being pessimistic. I am just relaying my thoughts as I - and we - have seen this happen time and time again.

As a side note, there is a lot of talk on FR about taking to the streets and taking it to the swamp. I get the impression that most of this is talk, though I do believe nothing is going to really change until people from the swamp are drastically effected.

I don’t give a damn what anyone’s predictions or fears or feelings are. If you’ve got some suggestion to make toward a plan of action, make it. If you’ve got some analysis of current events based on incoming data that will allow people to have a better perspective, then give it.

Otherwise, quit your whining and concern trolling. It serves nothing except to get the hand-wringing contingent of FreeRepublic twisting their mittens off.

There is no precedent for what is happening, and, regardless of the legal outcomes, it is ultimately up to us what we will allow to happen.

Yes, I was living in Wheaton when Glendening won. The Washington ComPost referred to her as Ellen Sauergrapes when she contested the results. The big difference between Glendening and William ScrapeYourDollar Schaefer was that Schaefer actually followed through and got a few things done while he was in office, and didn’t make any friends when he endorsed the likes of Helen Bentley and George H.W. Bush over the Dem establishment candidates. He brooked no shit from his own party. And he sure wasn’t a politically correct snowflake.

You are correct - it is the will of God. Like I said - I have read the Bible. It was the will of God that Israel was crushed and its people were enslaved. I believe that God did place President Trump in the White House. He also placed Obama in the White House. Nothing happens without God's will. There is a plan. I may not like the course of the plan, but prayer and surrendering to God's will is what I have to do. I just have a hard time doing that.

One definitive event that occurred prior to this election is the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg....She could have and should have died much sooner, but I believe God closed out her life in order for Trump to pick Amy Coney Barrett and place her on the court for such a time as THIS! I wrote exactly the same thing weeks ago in another post. The democrats are effectively going to “run out the clock”. While everyone agrees there was massive fraud that did switch the winner to biden, everyone, including the supreme court, will hide behind the “there is nothing we can do” legal argument.

OR ... Trump will prove:
a) there is a weakness in the Dominion software which permits fraud
and
b) there are anomalies in the recorded voting counts for Trump and Biden which are consistent with fraud having taken place

SO the affected states declare that the official voting counts are not reliable and so don’t allocate all their Electoral College electors to Biden, but instead give them to Trump or split them between the two.

Under this scenario, you don’t need absolute, “beyond reasonable doubt” proof that fraud occurred, merely “balance of probabilities” standard of proof.

Back in March before covid really hit here but we knew it was coming, I saw the empty shelves in Italy and stocked up on everything. Bought a little chest freezer and filled it. A few weeks later, there were no freezers to be found and the TP shelves were empty.

Just stocked up on TP again because we had empty shelves in the KC area. Will be buying a little extra of everything for a while until we run out of room.

I’ll be prepping for the remainder. Stimulus if we get one will go to prepping. Tax money will go to prepping. I bought three meat goats with the last stimulus. They’ll have babies in Spring and at least one will go in the freezer unless they’re all does. Going to get a small breed of pig. Will be building a high tunnel to extend the growing season by at least two months.

Self sufficiency is the name of the game now.

Can only imagine what the economy will look like in 4 years with a Biden/Harris presidency.

Still hoping for a Trump win but not super confident. It would require the same people who stood by and did nothing to prevent the steal to suddenly save us from the steal. Repub State legislatures or the SC. Roberts should have slapped down the State SCs for making law but he didn’t. State legislatures should have fought like hell when they were usurped but they didn’t.
