Hello,
I'm a 58 year-old woman who has been diagnosed with two ovarian cysts.
Call doctors ASAP. My wife had them and one ruptured and she spent 2 days in hospital. Made her very sick and extremely painful. Don’t play with that crap. Go..
You don’t go to FR...you go to a doctor. I’m sure they told you if they hurt....see your doctor.
Ovarian cancer survivor here, stop drinking and stop being so damn stupid. Don’t worry about the anesthesia impairing your cognition, you are already obviously cognitively impaired by posting here instead getting medical help. Call your GYN and get this worked up.
My cancer was silent, I had no symptoms whatsoever until one day I was doubled over with pain and went to the ER where a malignant tumor was discovered. Fortunately, it had not spread outside of my pelvis, and my surgeon believed he had successfully removed “99%” of it. I underwent chemo and am now 8 years cancer free.
millions have been under anesthesia without any ill effects....
you’re low in iodine. you should take iodoral and selenium (and magnesium glycinate, vitamin C and a pinch of good salt)
I’m so glad you have decided to go to the hospital. My doc didn’t take my complaints seriously, but I kept after him. I had pressure, followed by a release and drainage. Doc decided on exploratory surgery and was shocked to find a serious polycystic condition on both sides. He operated immediately, and I had an uneventful recovery. He was shaken, though, and felt he had saved me. One of the many symptoms, actually, can be depression. You might learn much that will improve your quality of life. Don’t worry about the anesthesia. Any effects will be temporary.
I wish you a return to perfect health, and a new lease on life. May God be with you.
Please keep us posted!
You live alone but hubby of 30 years will be taking you to the hospital??
My wife had one that busted. She was almost gone before they caught it. Pls don’t wait too long; get medical treatment asap.
I had ovarian cysts rupture several times when I was in high school and college.
First time I was curled up on the bathroom floor (didn’t know what the pain was) while my mom was snapping at me that it was my fault for staying out eating fried food late at night. Happened a few more times before I had my roommate drive me to the doctor. Once it was diagnosed he sent me home with a shrug-minor problem, nothing can be done. When it happened after that I just dealt with the pain on my own.
Years later I mentioned it during a health history with a doctor and he looked up and commented on how painful they are. I think I teared up as no one had acknowledged that before. I always assumed that I was just being weak by thinking I was in so much pain and forced myself to sort of function through it.
I’ve had a lot of pregnancies, hoping that has balanced me enough that I never have to go through that pain again.
My wife ended up having a hysterectomy. She would get them and just be in tears and lay in bed. I felt so bad for her, nothing I could do to help her. I also hope you never have to deal with it again.
Sorry.
I wish you well. Go to the doctor ASAP.
Go to the ER. It may not be just cysts, or one may be about to rupture. Go now.
When I was 30 , I had an undiagnosed cyst rupture . Drove myself to the hospital . The doctor told me I was the kind of woman that won the west .
I’m living with a Stage IV cervical cancer sufferer - Chemo every 3 weeks, hell on Earth - get diagnosed...
There is no way to reduce the size of it “naturally.” Once it is that large to cause throbbing pain, you run the risk of it rupturing, especailly during intercourse, and then you can get perotinis and die unless you have it operated on.
Even if you have it operated on after it ruptures, you will have a much more extensive surgery than getting it done laparoscopically before it ruptures. A rupture can result in not just blood and serum flooding the intestines and needing to be cleaned up in surgery, but also adhesions from any spots they miss thatwill make pooping or intercourse an issue for years to come, or can cause life-threatening intestinal blockages down the line.
Get it removed immediately.
Call you doc
He will tell you to go to ER. NOW
This can be life threatening
I woke up one morning about 20 years ago (I was in my early 50’s) and couldn’t stand up.....Hub came home and took me to the hospital.....had a grapefruit size cyst on my right ovary and lost it but walked upright when I got home. Don’t fool with those things.
And soon, when your dead all the pain theoretically will be gone.
You're 58, and seeking advice on the web from strangers?
Perhaps being dead at 58 is your karma for being stupid.
I spent 1 1/2 weeks in the hospital because of a ruptured appendix and peritonitis. Could have died. Still have the huge scar to this day. I was so infected they put me in isolation and didn’t close the wound. Just packed it and waited for it to close on its own. She needs to get herself to a hospital.
