There seems to be (and it not easy for me to compare these percentages as I am on an iPad, someone should backcheck me) a correlation between excess voter registration and excess democrat votes when compared to 2016. This especially stands out in the deep red counties of Forsyth and Cherokee

Did you check out the Indiana counties? It appears in Washington that it is the West side counties. None that I can tell on the East side where I live.
