Gentlemen, express yourselves by means of which non'cartridge disposable razor you have used.
I am moving away from Schick ST2's because 12 razors for $12.97 is not conducive to my budget, even with "sensitive skin"!
I don’t.... think ZZ Top.
Cheapest and best is https://getitgroomed.com/use-double-edge-safety-razor/
I don’t. Braun all the way.
Dorco was my go to but since the Pandemic, the company (dorcousa.com) has gone a different direction. I just picked up 3 doz (new)on ebay for @ $1/blade.
After a hot shower, any disposable razor works fine for me.
I love a good close shave. Ive never been able to feel that with a disposable. There is nothing better than a long, towel soaked, brush soaped lather shave on an oil pre-shave..
But, I am retired and shave once a week or so. I couldnt do that every day.
Have been using Harry’s for last 7 0r 8 years. Got started on line/ mail order. Now get the blades at Walmart or Walgreens. I get 7 or more shaves per blade. Cost wise its way cheaper than disposables that only give me 2 shaves max. Check it out and see what you think.....red
Gillette Mach 3, six blades for $12 bucks. A blade lasts about month for me. I cannot use an electric razor, they give me a rash. Mach 3 is just about right for me. I never feel clean not shaving.
double sided safety razor, around 20 cents/blade
They all suck.
Harrys.
$2.00 each. Best ones Ive ever used.

Cheap Bic disposables with a single blade.
I broke up with Dollar Shave Club because of their virtue signaling. Not sure who to buy from these days, and not just razors.
Some make it complicated https://www.gentlemansgazette.com/double-edge-safety-razor-techniques/
but with a heavy long handled DE razor ( Merkur 34C is my current cutter) one can shave dry if in a hurry [ie boot camp], though I prefer at least warm water, or spurge with soapy lather of any kind. I use an old soda can to keep the used blades out of the way safely. Too many people want to take your money for this manly pursuit.
I have store brand twin blade razors which come 12 in a pack, and which I bought on sale 2 for $4.00.
I’ve used a safety razor for a few years, but haven’t found a blade I’m happy with. Suggestions?
Yep, that's my preference. I ordered a couple 100 count packs of razors and I'll probably never finish them. Much less irritation than the cartridge razors for me. That reminds me... time to order some more Mennin Skin Bracer aftershave.
