I’ve seen some with an infection in the shape of the mask on the face. Very gross! I’m glad I never wear them.

I’ve been wearing the same mask I was given at the dentist’s office in May.
Masks are mandatory in most parts of Europe. Combine mandatory masks that you have to buy for yourself with people struggling financially and you end up with single use masks that get worn until they are too dirty to use in public or fall apart. Medical is already paid for so it’s cheaper to take the risk.

I only came to this thread to see the redhead “eyebleach” girl. I love her. *tears* I really do.
I spray my reusable with a solution of denatured alcohol and water; I do it every time I leave a place that has mandatory mask usage.
School children are being forced to wear masks ALL DAY, 5 days a week, while cowardly pediatricians remain silent.

Us ‘non maskers’ better get together and push for PROPER disposal of the masks, not just in the trash bag with the rest of the landfill materials.
When it starts costing more to dispose one of them than to buy a few hundred, people (govt) will start coming to their senses.
Think the ‘dreaded’ asbestos that ended up costing more to de asbestos a one story house than to buy the land and put up a 20 story building.

Glass stops UV but passes heat - plastic passes UV but stops heat; that’s why tanning beds use plastic (plexiglass) instead of glass. Hang it from your outside mirror :)
Good God, people. If someone wears a mask for extended periods without cleaning and gets an infection, it’s just the same as someone not changing their socks or underwear and getting an infection. It’s just flat-out stupid to blame the mask. There is a reason you change and clean clothing or intimate gear like a CPAP regularly.
Stop grasping at the flimsiest of straws to justify your weapons-grade ODD.
