Just use the buzz phrase “climate change” and you’ll get a big fat grant, no matter what the research topic is.

I want answers. Who are these geologists? What do they know? And when did they know it? Someone is to blame here. They just can’t go off and be careless, losing tectonic plates. It’s not like they grow on trees.

Missing plates?
Old news. The plates & silverware were discovered to be missing from the White House when Clinton's minions pulled out in Jan 2001, just before the fumigators arrived.

Humans rising up from the dead to make zombie hordes was bad enough.
Now we have to deal with resurrected tectonic plates too? A massive landmass zombie?
How are we supposed to shot that in the head?

geologists have always known there were two plates in the Pacific Ocean at that time called Kula and Farallon. Actually, geologists have known about plates since the sixties or so. Before that, they fought tooth and nail against plate tectonics theory (or continental drift as it was originally proposed by Alfred Wegener).

I wonder if it’s mine. I set it down somewhere and have never been able to find it. Did they find a pair of glasses with it?

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Tectonic comes from the word tekton.
tektōn (τέκτων) is a common term for an artisan/craftsman, in particular a carpenter, woodworker, or builder.
