Oprah Winfrey has compared the "caste system" of systemic racism in America, saying it served as a "template" for Nazi Germany.

Winfrey herself has penned a piece about the upcoming election, urging Americans to choose "civility, decency, humanity" at the polls.

Published in eponymous publication, O Magazine, Winfrey wrote: "Beyond all the policy issues that will matter most in the future—the economy, climate change, healthcare, Social Security, education—what's really at stake are civility, decency, humanity. The hatred that's been unleashed will take some reckoning to overcome."

She added in am Instagram video: "Voting is a giant step in the direction of the collective vision we hold for our country. This 2020 election holds the highest stakes we've known for our democracy in our lifetime. Life as we know and hope for it to be is on the line, I believe. And, if you're paying any attention at all, you cannot just see it in all the newsfeeds or the hateration of social media, you can feel it. Get still and know the truth for yourself."

I’m reading with difficulty the Caste book referred to here and viewed by Oprah and the white elites as an accepted historical theory of how the US was constructed. The theory that there was a grand srratified plan in the minds of the founders is ludicrous. They were 18th century educated Christians who were building a free society but knew they couldn’t incorporate all into those freedoms or they would have never gottewn the country started. They did however create a system which allowed change and freedoms to be extended over time, which has happened, with Oprah and Ms. Wikerson the beneficiaries.

Though claimed by the author as history, there is no credible evidence Hitler or the Nazis used Jim Crow laws to build the Third Reich.They were well on their way to their own system and needed no help. This a lame attempt to color American race issues with Naziism.

This element of critical race theory is part of an excuse pattern that blames the system for the lack of development of the native black population in this country. Mention of the fatherless culture and lawlessness resulting therefrom, cannot be mentioned. Single baby-mothers are to be admired and supported, not judged to be a problem. Oprah should know this.
