The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated, youll be solving them all within a few days. If youre stumped, take a break and return to it.

You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.
One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please dont put the actual words of the quote in the clue.

Its not saying much, but at least its not an RBG quote.
I was addressing the quote, not your remark. The quote was a vacuous platitude spoken in the dark language of Mordor. Actually, platitude is the main idiom of Mordor.
Good puzzle, but attributed to a marginal, crappy public figure in U.S. history.

Next to last word; last word.
Second word (look at the ending; also finishes first word). Off to the races.
Completely stumped.
Walked away for a break, then words 8 and 13 came into focus.
