Today we did a refi for our house and a very nice black woman maybe age 50's came to do our closing. She asked us for our ID's and my husband had brought something he couldn't use and she spied my husbands concealed carry permit in his wallet and suggested we use that. My husband commented that he loved she knew what it was and she commented she has hers and it wasn't a normal thing.
While signing she was expressing how happy she was because she had just come from early voting. Then later in the conversation, we were chatting about coronavirus and she brought up Tucker and him mentioning the scientist who feels it was created. I agreed wholeheartedly and said "I feel we are quietly on the same page".
She said her husband was retired military now working for the government and she quietly, without saying the word "Trump", said she and her husband have to keep quiet concerning their vote and politics because they would have very little friends left if they admitted it. She is from Philly and also thought there would be a lot of upcoming fraud.
Excellent! Hope there are many more.
I want to see more ads suggesting that in the privacy of the voting booth you can freely speak your mind.
People want to be heard, but are afraid to speak. When you vote, you can speak the Truth.
Thanks for sharing that; it gives me HOPE!
Trump. 2020. Landslide. Let’s Make It So! :)
It is real. As blacks have increased their incomes above the poverty line, they found the joy in wanting to keep their own money as well.
And I would add, we have a black female nurse in our hospital (which is a rarity), this is Trump country. She was talking to me, MAD because the doctor was a Trump guy. I said I also support Trump, her mouth fell open then she proceeded to tell me he was ‘racist, misogynist’ and not only could she not stand him but doesn’t like anyone who does. Then MY mouth fell open. :) She realized she’d screwed up. Just saying...not likely he has most of the black women vote and that would include ‘professional’ type black women.
“I want to see more ads suggesting that in the privacy of the voting booth you can freely speak your mind.”
Oh, THAT would be SO SMART! And make sure it’s hinted at that the reason you CAN’T speak your mind is...Socialist Democrats!
Hardworking middle class folks love Trump because hard working middle class folks don’t see color or race or religion or any other way the media uses to separate us. They see results because they know they are expected to produce results too. Trump is a results kind of guy.
Thank you for sharing this.
“Trump is a results kind of guy.”
Promises Made. Promises Kept. :)
I have a black friend in Denver and about three months ago he told me that a surprising number of black men will vote for Trump and simply keep it to themselves. He said black women, for the most part, are a lost cause.
I think there is. I think most middle class blacks have seen how the Dems and BLM have harmed them. They want nothing to do the with people who happen to share the same level of melanin in their skin color but think nothing like them And actually despise them. Just as we wouldnt want to be lumped in with soiboi Antifa or nasty feminazis just because they had light skin.
I don’t show my politics outwardly, but anybody that knows me knows how I will vote.
I’m not a mystery, just part of our silent majority.
I bet she’d be surprised at how many other blacks are doing the exact same thing.
that’s because they are MARRIED to the government. that’s their ‘daddy’. nobody better take that away...
That’s one election, and it’s good news. But, when blacks start voting 45 to 55 percent for Republicans in local city elections, that’s when the real hope begins.
Heh. I had one member of a gay couple down the hall make a point of whispering that he had voted for Trump and continued to be a Trump supporter.
That’s right. Government is their god. They love the Plantation.
Hallelujah.
Prayers she has a LOT of company.
