“People in Talent are getting the run around from “helping” agencies. Also getting wrong numbers. They cant get drugs replaced (called duplicates)...also...What are YOU going to do to HELP????”

THere is other info there - briefings, etc. OREGON SURVIVORS AFFECTED BY WILDFIRES CAN APPLY FOR FEDERAL ASSISTANCE: State and federal officials are encouraging Oregon residents affected by the wildfires and straight-line winds, which began on Sept. 7 and are continuing, to register for disaster assistance with FEMA as soon as possible. FEMA’s Individual Assistance program for survivors has been made available in Clackamas, Douglas, Jackson, Klamath, Lane, Lincoln, Linn, and Marion counties. Disaster assistance may include grants for temporary housing and home repairs, low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses, and other programs to help individuals and business owners recover from the effects of the disaster. ‼️If you have phone or Internet access, you may register by: • Going online at DisasterAssistance.gov • Downloading the FEMA app • Calling 1-800-621-3362 (FEMA) or TTY 1-800-462-7585 for people with speech and hearing disabilities. Fema’s phones say NOT WORKING..can’t connect 5 days.
United way says NO ONE is set upto help anyone except the shelter at the EXPO...FULLLLLL. RED cross didn’t know there was a fire! They give you Fema;s #
THERE is NO help! OUR CITY’S numbers refer us to FEMA...it’s all a sick joke.

It’s absolutely unbelievable. We are spread all over the state from the Medford AREA and NO other county will even consider talkiing to us...ONLY residents of their county.

Oh how HORRIBLE. What state people are for Jackson County??? Maybe try going up the ladder to the fed higher ups. Someone needs to tell President Trump about this. Or VP Pence.

Charter Spectrum refuses to shut off my service to a burned out TOWN because I can’t produce an account # and they have the wrong phone # down..I can’t remember my old #! THEY owe me $..I was paid thru October. It’s unbelievable. We are getting gouged every which way.

It rained here in Cottage Grove last night and this morning. I stood in the rain with my friend and wept with joy and sorrow. The sky is blue. It’s amazing.

My husband decided to test the FEMA # last nite...listened and responded...then he got to point where you had to listen ...then hold f I r help...he held and THEN THEY JUST DROPPED THE CALL.
