Federal prosecutor Nora Dannehy, a top aide to U.S. Attorney John H. Durham in his Russia investigation, has quietly resigned from the U.S. Justice Department probe - at least partly out of concern that the investigative team is being pressed for political reasons to produce a report before its work is done, colleagues said.
Dannehy, a highly regarded prosecutor who has worked with or for Durham for decades, informed colleagues in the U.S. Attorney’s office in New Haven of her resignation from the Department of Justice by email Thursday evening. The short email was a brief farewell message and said nothing about political pressure, her work for Durham or what the Durham team has produced, according to people who received it.

Colleagues said Dannehy is not a supporter of President Donald J. Trump and has been concerned in recent weeks by what she believed was pressure from Barr - who appointed Durham - to produce results before the election. They said she has been considering resignation for weeks, conflicted by loyalty to Durham and concern about politics.

Most likely she shares the same visceral hatred of Trump that most democrats do. No politics there either.
It’s my understanding that Durham is not “producing a report”, but rather indicting malefactors.
Perhaps they want to try and get Durham to delay till after the election by saying this lady quit because she was afraid it would get released before.

If true she is either laying the groundwork for the Swamp to claim the indictments are all political, or she does not want to try to continue living in deep blue Connecticut being on that side of the fence.
Probably couldn’t stand the intense workload. One prosecution per year is tough enough, he probably heard Durham was going to up their quota to 2 per year.
That could describe the entire Mueller team along with Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page, etc.
No doubt, she wanted to drag this on until after the election. She is hoping at the very least that this will tarnish the results. All calculated.
Durham/Barr need to drop the hammer on this whole investigation NOW before the media and Congress uses this little turncoat to undermine the whole thing. Assuming they ever were going to eventually drop the hammer, of course. But this is clearly a well timed bomb to sink the whole thing.
Yea Nora,Its great to take the time to get everything correct and accurate but I think there is something else involved here and that’s stalling until your hopeful candidate becomes President so that any indictments get quashed immediately by a RAT justice Department.
I’m glad Nora has “resigned” since she’s showing a little confusion as to where her loyalties lie.

This could explain the delays...Dannehy is “not a Trump supporter”, which was good of the Courant to report since it’s surely a liberal rag.
It also sounds like Durham/Barr made it clear that all this work would be swept away if Trump loses (with crooks free to roam), which she inferred as politics.
