Federal prosecutor Nora Dannehy, a top aide to U.S. Attorney John H. Durham in his Russia investigation, has quietly resigned from the U.S. Justice Department probe - at least partly out of concern that the investigative team is being pressed for political reasons to produce a report before its work is done, colleagues said.
Dannehy, a highly regarded prosecutor who has worked with or for Durham for decades, informed colleagues in the U.S. Attorneys office in New Haven of her resignation from the Department of Justice by email Thursday evening. The short email was a brief farewell message and said nothing about political pressure, her work for Durham or what the Durham team has produced, according to people who received it.
...
Colleagues said Dannehy is not a supporter of President Donald J. Trump and has been concerned in recent weeks by what she believed was pressure from Barr - who appointed Durham - to produce results before the election. They said she has been considering resignation for weeks, conflicted by loyalty to Durham and concern about politics.

Not quietly enough, I see.
Another deep state hack is gone, good.
Another slithering swamp creature dutifully playing her role as aggrieved victim of the Trump Administration.
Unknown Colleagues...Sure! /S
One notices there are no statements from her.
Deep state mole terminated!
Deep state mole terminated!
“...being pressed for political reasons to produce a report before its work is done”
Why not just let us know what you’ve learned so far?
In the interest of transparency?
Most likely a ‘leaker’ who got caught and was given ‘The Choice’........................
“This is a piece of dung!” Sound familiar?
Or trying to get out ahead of the coming news.
SURE! She is the one concerned about politics.
Sounds more like she is displeased that Durham will not wait till after the election.
I'm sure Nadler is in contact with Nora. /not sarc
What is with DOJ employees all feeling they are independent agents that are outside the authority of the AG? Durham is not an independent counsel, Mueller wasn’t either. They both answer to AG and so does their staff. When my boss sets a deadline I don’t notify the press that he’s infringing on my independence.
She knows that there is a there “there” which exonerates Trump and will put a lot of folks into trouble but she just can’t stand Trump and will not do what is actually right for the country. She might have been caught fudging info or dragging her feet and being an impediment to Durham’s work.
How dare our boss pressure us to do our jobs. This is unheard of and interferes with our independence to take as long as we think we need to do our jobs unless we are prosecuting Flynn in which case we need no time at all.
It’s going to take a lot more brimstone and nukes than God used on Sodom and Gomorrah to cleanse Kalifornicata.
Oops, wrong thread. Never mind.
Why not just let us know what youve learned so far?
She needs to get those talking points from Schiff et al first...
