Where are these people buying flamethrowers? Or is a flamethrower something that you can make out of ordinary materials? No one should be allowed to be carrying around flamethrowers, especially in large gatherings.
Listening to something that you would not be interested in seeing how it ends, as you said, is important In falling asleep while listening. I listen to audiobooks of authors like Susan Wiggs or Debbie Macomber which are stories about mostly nice people who have a few problems and mostly work them out because I will enjoy listening again later to find out what actually happened. Books like these or movies you have already watched ( great idea!) calm the mind away from the “news” of the day. Talk radio or TV “news” is not helpful to listen to in the night because you just want to see what the next person will say.
