I loved the book but the movie is a Classic and made the book and author forever a cherished novel!
So many books would not get the recognition until it hit the big screen.
To Kill A Mocking Bird is one!
So many,Grapes of Wrath is a classic!
Big Screen helped this also.
Wow too many too list..I could go on! :)
I'm a huge reader with so many books and gave many away. :)

I agree, the book is great. So much history in it as well.
Hope Sapphire staying far away from you sissyjane. I think that’s probably one of the worst natural disasters that could happen.

..at first I didn’t know what to thinkI find that I must read absolutely everything at least two or three times. (Particularly anything from M$M/FB/Twit/UTube etc but...sadly...more and more around here just due to the increasing volume of posts/posters)
First two times are to decide if it is factual, parody or just media/troll BS, then pick the bones to see if a grammar or spelling blivet has altered the sense. Finally, I'll check the poster and consider the effects of haste etc as apparently occurred in this case.
No harm no foul.
Go forth and sin no more. /joke
