Recent polls have shown President Trump in a dead heat with Joe Biden in Minnesota, and that was before last weeks rioting, looting and arson in downtown Minneapolis. Friends from around the country have been asking me, is this real? My answer has been, yes it is. Trump lost Minnesota to Hillary Clinton by just a point and a half.
Since then, there is no doubt that Minnesota, outside the Twin Cities metro area, has gotten considerably redder. The conventional wisdom is that this is balanced out by suburban women hating Trump more than they did four years ago. Possibly this is true, but what is the evidence for it? I havent seen any. (What suburban women really hate is crime, rioting, looting and arson, but that is another story.) If the polls show the state more or less tied, they make sense.
But dont take my word for it: the Biden campaign has implicitly confirmed that their polling, too, shows that Minnesota is in play. On Thursday, Bidenannounced that Minnesota and Wisconsin are among the states he plans to visit, in person, after Labor Day.
That is good news if you are a Trump supporter. I dont think there is any reasonable scenario on which Biden can win the election if he loses Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Trump NEEDS to get into Minnesota and have rallies I am VERY AFRAID these gestapo governors wont let that happen BUT if Joe is allowed they would have to allow Trump!!
Mondale’s margin of victory in Minnesota was less than 4,000 votes (out of a bit more than 2 million votes cast).
Iron Range on the Wisconsin side is also trending less Democrat. Trump has the FDR vibe with old time union members. Police unions in NY backing him is significant.
Exactly.

Thank you.
It would make sense if the map made sense. How is Trump going to lose FL to Biden when Hillary couldn’t win it? He is less popular then she was. You just tried to figure a way to make Biden appear to win, without giving a thought on his weaknesses among the Blacks and the progressive Left.
So, Biden is tied with Trump in deep Blue Min. but he is going to win FL? That would be like Trump having to fight for Ala.!
Take nothing for granted, ESPECIALLY when polls tell you your candidate is running behind.
Yes, I know that, and the midwest states are turning Red.
And the reason those people left those Blue states was because they were driven out by fear, I doubt that they are going to vote Blue and face being driven out again.
