Recent polls have shown President Trump in a dead heat with Joe Biden in Minnesota, and that was before last week’s rioting, looting and arson in downtown Minneapolis. Friends from around the country have been asking me, is this real? My answer has been, yes it is. Trump lost Minnesota to Hillary Clinton by just a point and a half.
Since then, there is no doubt that Minnesota, outside the Twin Cities metro area, has gotten considerably redder. The conventional wisdom is that this is balanced out by suburban women hating Trump more than they did four years ago. Possibly this is true, but what is the evidence for it? I haven’t seen any. (What suburban women really hate is crime, rioting, looting and arson, but that is another story.) If the polls show the state more or less tied, they make sense.
But don’t take my word for it: the Biden campaign has implicitly confirmed that their polling, too, shows that Minnesota is in play. On Thursday, Bidenannounced that Minnesota and Wisconsin are among the states he plans to visit, in person, after Labor Day.
That is good news if you are a Trump supporter. I don’t think there is any reasonable scenario on which Biden can win the election if he loses Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Wasn’t Minnesota pretty close in ‘16? IIRC the President carried WI by a less than huge margin...don’t know how similar those two neighboring states are politically.

MN was very close in ‘16 but Minneapolis has many uber-liberal colleges cranking out boatloads of SJW.
Also the Democrats have ruled the local media since the 60’s and they are going to use it with all the resources they can find.
The big break was indications are that Trump may have captured the Iron Range part of MN.
Big old school Union area who probably like being back to work and bringing in regular paychecks.
President Trump won over the people in the Iron Range since the last election.
They have NEVER paid any attention to a Republican.
The suburbanites here are sick and tired of the increase in crime and the threat of the BurnLootMurder thugs coming out here to our safe areas.
I have a friend who lives a block from where Saint Floyd died of a fentanyl overdose. He says even the liberals there are tired of it.
President Trump can and will win Minnesota.

I’m sure if asked, they won’t admit it, but I can see several liberals getting into that private polling booth, looking around to see if anyone is watching, then voting for Trump.

Basically Ali’s Rope-a-Dope against Foreman, law low, but keep getting jabs into the body (and no one ever wanted to be on the receiving end of an Ali jab, back then). They worked, and by the time Ali felt like stepping things up, Foreman was simply of gas.
The democrats could just let him slip down a few flights of stairs. Have a big funeral shindig. Let Hillary attempt to bitch Big Mike to death in a cage match for the top spot. Who in the democrat party would really mourn old Joe? Who thinks either the Clintons or Obamas are above something like this?

Trump won the Iron Range in 2016. It’ll come down to the suburbs in MN.
How is Florida looking?
Based on these polling numbers, work better be done there ASAP.
(Yes, polling can be off. But if a poll is consistent, at least the trend tells you something.)
