I've never ever been polled for my political opinion nor have I ever heard of anyone saying they have. Has anyone here?

Sure. But 98% of them were push polls.
After bland, innocuous questions on crime-fighting and importance. They ask something like...
Q: Would it change your mind if you knew that the “The Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act”, was sponsored and passed by Senator Joe Biden in 1994.
yes
I was polled by Rasmussen once about 10 years ago. Question was straight forward things like did you vote in last election and who do you lean to and what party are you. It was a computer doing the whole thing.
There was no attempt to slant my opinion.
I’m 71 years old...Been a registered voter for 50 years...Not once have I ever been polled...
Yes. And I answered because caller ID said “Pew Research”. I normally don’t answer numbers that I don’t recognize.
Yes, I was polled by phone a week or two ago. I answered favorable for Trump and Tommy Tubberville. After that, they started reading statements and asking for my reaction. They were all negative for Tubbs. I told them I was hanging up after the 2nd one and did so.
I haven’t because I don’t answer my phone if the caller isn’t in my contacts. Too many robocalls.
Plus after cell-phone's came into play..I don't answer my phone unless I know the person calling....
I haven’t. But my late mother-in-law had a pretty good answer for anyone who called her to ask. She’d tell them “There’s this thing I vote with called a ‘secret ballot’. Once the election is over, then I’ll tell you how I voted.”
AAAAAALLLLL the time.
Sometimes it is the RNC “polling” but really asking for money.
Other times it is real pollsters.
My wife hates politics so she just hangs up on ‘em.
Don’t pick up those call types.
Same here. When we had a landline, we had pollsters calling. I just told them I don’t ‘do’ polls, and hung up. That was during Clinton times. None since then.
>>Calls are blocked, those not recognized are ignored. My opinion is given at the polls.<<
A lot of times they are named so blocks don’t work.
Not in a traditional sense, but I am polled often by yougov for nationalal races and some FL state polling groups online (no phone calls) They ask you repeatedly and in different ways if you are registered to vote, likely to vote, enthusiastic about your candidate, general leaning on gloBULL warming, black labs matter, etc to classify you.
I get polled fairly regularly, especially as elections approach.
Some are in person, some are robocalls. Just this weekend, I got a text poll (a first for me).
I consider it my civic duty to lie to pollsters. If the corrupt media or lobbyists will use these results for their own cynical political or financial advantage, why do I, owe them my honesty? They are counting on high societal trust, which is ironic since they often work hard to manipulate and destroy that trust.
For the one I repd this weekend, I was a pacific-island lesbian female with 5 kids, voting for the Green Party!
As part of Rush’s Operation Chaos, I voted in the Dim primary for Hillary. Put me on all sorts of lists. I have been called for polls, usually part of polls for statewide or local candidates, all Dims. Kinda fun to play with them.
I have been polled in the past... nothing lately
I haven’t been polled since 2012 in spite of having the same land line from 2010 through 2019. I guess the pollsters lost my number after I told them I was voting for Mitt the-lesser-evil Romney.
