A BRITISH ex-public schoolboy has been stripped and flogged 24 times in a Singapore jail for drugs offences.
London-born Ye Ming Yuen, 31, was strapped to a large wooden bench before being brutally beaten.
He was punished in the 'caning room' in Changi Prison where he is currently serving 20 years for his crimes.
The former Westminster School pupil's caning came after he had his second appeal rejected by the Singaporean courts.

Don't deal drugs in Singapore...
I don't think women prisoners ever get "caning"...I never heard of such an instance...
I believe it was Mike Fahy.
2 Aussies in Malasiya-remember them? Caning in singapore-at least they’re alive.
Do the crime, do the time. With your flaming hot buttocks aglow.
Yi Meng Yuen-Chinaman. Who cares?
Drugs and Phillipines always a bad idea.
Why do I have this feeling that Singapore does not have a drug problem?
It would be great to send the antifa thugs to Singapore. See if they still think the US is bad.

Apparently you care enough to post on this thread.
Why does the article emphasize that he was a former schoolboy when he’s 31 years old?
Would he rather have been shot?
Drug dealers or other intentional lawbreakers knew what might happen. You rolled the dice and you lost. No whining.
“I don’t think women prisoners ever get “caning””.
I believe they get rooroo.
“Public” schoolboy, which means private in Britain. It’s supposed to be a surprise that a person who went to a private high school instead of a “comprehensive” is a drug dealer.
It’s not a surprise to me.
“I think President Bill Clinton once asked Singapore not to do the caning on some American...”
I don’t much approve of prison.
I support death penalty for really bad stuff and corporal punishment for other stuff.
Time in jail may have it’s place, but I see limited utility in it.
Royal Navy. Rum, Buggery, and the Lash
I am completely behind this punishment for him.
On my first trip to Singapore there was a big sign in the Arrivals Hall,in several languages, saying "Death Penalty For Drug Traffickers In Singapore" Right next to it was an amnesty bin.Despite being a lifelong drug free guy I was so spooked by the sign I was tempted to toss my blood pressure meds in the bin...just in case.
I think restitution is important too. Id like to see thieves have to pay double back to their victims. Much better justice for their victims. And they means work camps but I dont mean torture centers. Just work. Until youve paid back your victim twofold.
