With one exception, the wars in which the United States has engaged since its inception involved our nation against one or more external adversaries. That exception, the American Civil War (1861-1865), still elicits an emotional response among our citizens due to the inherent tragedy connected to a nation at war with itself the whole "brother against brother" dynamic that is recalled whenever discussions of this conflict arise.
One less common aspect of our Civil War (as compared to other nations that have endured civil wars) is that America was geographically divided at the time by the Mason-Dixon line, which divided the Union and Confederate states. This more resembled traditional military conflicts with external adversaries, and has colored many Americans' idea of what a civil war is like. Unlike our Civil War, civil wars in most nations generally involve disparate or dissident factions fighting against each other and/or whatever regime is holding power.
I'm not going to say that what we've been experiencing over the last three months have been the first salvos of a civil war, but it sure looks like it. While hard-line socialists in the Democratic Party are working within the political infrastructure and behaving as though they are conducting the business of governance according to the rule of law and constitutionally established procedures, they are in fact in the process of fomenting civil war or at least, they have made it apparent that they are willing to go that far if they are not able to gain ascendency via political means.

By November 10 , all electors must turn in their vote. One week is all they have.
Im concerned with the counting of the votes.
Theres a district in NY that is still counting.
How did this POS ever get to America? He sold out Jews in the 2nd World War. I’d like to have 5 minutes alone with this puke. America has allowed far too many losers into our Country.
Ahh. Youre outside liberal land. Im in the thick of it.
What do you think could/should replace the two-party system? The way i see it nobody is going to waste time and money on on new parties because the they would wither away like young shoots in the shadows of old growth.
Last Friday, naturally after my regular vets had all gone home, Gypsy, my 14 year old rescue Podengo, managed to knock her canine out of her jaw SIDEWAYS but still firmly lodged.
Found a vet to help her, though.
There went my electric bill money.
Trying to sell stuff and begging on GoFundMe before they turn off the lights and the AC.
It’s been the worst year ever, coming after his broken hip and heart attacks.
Honestly, it’s breaking me down.
And everyone has their faces stuck to their phones.
He’s an enigma, that man.
:D
Someone once posted a link to “find your militia” by state.
My state had zilch.
I had to laugh.
The gun shops are like 7-11s now, hardly ever closed, lots full and spilling over into the road sides.
No hillbilly is gonna join anything, let alone announce their intentions.
When this stupidity began, several people “protested” in the town square 20 miles east of me.
The second night, one woman was left, holding some whiny sign.
My mom, after church last Sunday, saw a busload of BLMers ironically eating lunch at Cracker Barrel.
She said they were very well behaved.
While other places are burning, it’s freakishly quiet and peaceful here..but you can hear the banjos being tuned up.
They’d never make it past South Mountain, let alone survive all the way to Cumberland...and there’s a whole lot of “nowhere” between those places where they’ll never find you.
Case in point, the Beltway snipers were headed this way but caught before South Mountain.
And every billy in this area was out in the woods, watching because somehow we all *knew* they were coming here.
Turned out several local places were on their laptop target list.
As one on the Right, I will say the same thing about secession now that I said about it before.
Let them go. We will all be happier for it.
Besides, the Founders intended - as did the states when they ratified the constitution - that each state retained the power to leave, to “resume the powers of government” delegated to the federal government whenever they chose to do so.
Some states might themselves split up but just imagine the Left Coast (not the whole states of California, Oregon and Washington but their coastal strips) and the acela corridor going their separate ways from Occupied Northern Virginia up through Maine encompassing Philly and NYC which would break off from Pennsylvania and New York State. Imagine Maryland, Deleware, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Vermont, Maine, Hawaii and Massachussets gone. Imagine the left leaning areas of Virginia, Pennsylvania and New York State gone with them. Imagine Everything north of Orange County up through Oakland plus the Willamette Valley plus Seattle gone.
OH MY GOD would we be better off. All the whining, the socialism, the globalism, the poisonous Ivy League etc all gone. That’d be at least 24 Democrat Senators gone. It would be a similar story in the House. The only thing we’d have to do is build walls to prevent Leftists from trying to sneak back in after their socialist experiment failed.
Hey, it’s BLM in Berkeley Springs!
Just listen to all those people honking their horns in support!
/or not

As have I. I decided a long time ago that it is because the PTB want it that way. The USG certainly has the intelligence and the means to neutralize this guy. When nothing happened to him after his manipulation of the Bank of England I was sold on that idea. The DS has been going on for a lot longer than most of us realize.

You are using logic. These are Stupids. Honest to Goodness RETARDS! They don't see that 4 years of rioting, with a supporting administration in Portland, has bought them nothing. The police, that they want to destroy, is the only thing keeping them alive, literally. If the police leave, even for a few days, Antifa will be shot, the bodies thrown in the Willamette, to float out to sea.
The REAL problem is that once the shooting starts, all those who support Antifa will have to be shot. And then, those who supported the supporters.
And then, what happens to the Constitution? Antifa is the Enemy of the Constitution. Can we Constitutionally exterminate them? (And that is the only thing that will turn them off.)
Two parties: one is Marxist and the other has been pulled so far to the left that they can best be described as Liberal.
The “genius” of the Left is that they’ve been dragging our country ever so slowly (and, at times, not so slowly) to their side for decades. Seems the new strategy is to torch cities so that folks will leave (these largely democrat strongholds), take up residence in Red states, bringing their foolish ideology, their pampered children, their godlessness with them and then vote that state Purple, which is closer to Blue than any of us care to imagine.
"I dont see either side accepting the result on November 4. The real violence will get going before the inauguration in January. Martial law and blood being shed in large quantities is now more likely than not. Throw in a resumption of the stock market crash and this Fourth Turning will really intensify. Weve reached the boiling point and those controlling the temperature are still turning it up."
