Good people who will now pay the price for Goodyear's corporate embrace of the "silence is violence" message that demands fealty to lefty SJW issues because staying neutral and apolitical is no longer allowed.
ONE of my points in the survey was that they needed to remember that it was “old white men” inventors, under capitalism, not socialism, who made it possible for them to be getting paychecks now. It wasn’t BLM or Antifa.

I may be wrong, but I get the sense the members of corporate boards these days, for the most part, don’t much care if their company goes down the tubes. They can use it to promote their pet causes, and move on to something else. They get rewarded, regardless.

My local Goodyear vendor have always been great to deal with and I feel sorry for them. I don’t talk “politics” with them, but suspect they likely agree with me on most things and I don’t go there for politics nor do they sell politics with their products and services.
This is the problem with corporate America who bought the lie that they had to have huge diversity and inclusion staffs. Where did this idea come from? Universities who sucked tens of thousands of students into what is essentially a “social justice major”.
A smart CEO would say “we do not discriminate against anyone and our business is to sell our product” so end all of that nonsense up front. However, the smart CEO’s stupidly hired a bunch of social justice majors to create and enforce company policies and here we are.....
