Goodyear view is BLM and LGBT are not political and Blue LM and ALM are political as well as MAGA. I suspect they are backing off the Blue LM and ALM ban but if you are in management or want to be in management you better not display or support either saying.
Goodyear needs to recognize BLM and LGBT are political.
People probably shouldn’t wear MAGA hats at work, or other political attire.
But, the real issue is that BLM is good, LGBTQ is good, but Blue Lives Matter and All Lives Matter is somehow evil and bad.
GT signed a death warrant on this. They will not make it 24 more months after this. The company has struggled since its heydays.
Filled out the survey. I bet they are already getting slammed based on their walkback. Too little, too late.

As part of forced diversity training for workers they banned MAGA gear, All Lives Matter and Blue Lives Matter. Approved, however, was Black Lives Matter and LGBT items.

It’s too bad that it’s come to that. I recall when Reagan was running, everyone in our (government) workplace wore different political buttons, hats, etc. Nobody’s nose got out of joint. Freedom.
I haven’t bought a Goodyear tire since I lost my van and travel trailer due to a Goodyear tire tread delaminating. That was right after the outrage at Firestone over their tires delaminating. What wasn’t publicized was Goodyear was having the same problem because I think they were the only American owned tire maker at that time. There were 3 US soldiers killed in Saudi Arabia at that time due to a Goodyear tire delaminating.

Goodyear was the tire company supporting the IMSA years back, including the team that drove the decked out Chevrolet Monza GT in the late ‘70’s.
The old competition was Goodyear/Firestone.

The chat program notified that there were 189 customers ahead of me and I would have to wait 36 minutes to chat with an agent.
Don’t waste your time. You get to be the first in the queue and then they zonk you. It does boggle up their network.
