After growing tired of watching elected officials demand they operate at a capacity that is unsustainable for food service locations, 200 restaurateurs in Pennsylvania are staging a revolt.
In an audacious plan, the restaurant owners intend to save their businesses by opening at a larger capacity, with some added safety measures.
KDKA-TV reported the so-called restaurant revolution began Friday with dozens of restaurants opening at more than 25 percent capacity in defiance of Democratic Gov. Tom Wolfs orders.
The movement encourages restaurants to ignore the states mandate that food service businesses operate at no more than one-quarter capacity.
The participating restaurants will instead further open their dining rooms by using guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Those in the association say they are just as essential as stores like Target, Walmart and Giant Eagle, the attorney said, adding that restaurants have been bullied and want their rights back.
Because of financial desperation they wanted to do what they wanted to do and needed to do to survive, he said.
Currently, the 25 percent is unworkable, Scoulos told the outlet.

Long past time to tell certain governors to shove their silly ideas up their Obamaholes.
They let asshats riot, but we cannot eat comfortably.
Make the progressives shake in their boots, not us.
If it takes violence, so be it.
If tyranny isnt resisted, you get more tyranny
Good. Businesses have got to start doing this all over the country.

Transylvannia CHOSE to let a whacko run and control
and dominate their lives for his MOMMY and Hershey.
They have reaped what they did sow.
They closed all of the republican owned Chrysler dealerships, now they are going after restaurants.
This is the only way this crap will end. In NJ two gym owners were arrested. Every single gym in NJ should open. Each time I go into a store, I walk in further and further w/o the mask on. When theres no one anywhere near me, I take it off. When I put it back on, I dont cover my nose. If that makes someone uncomfortable, keep your distance. Ya gotta start somewhere
This is exactly what people need to do. We need something akin to a “Patriot Union,” since our elected Republican Reps are doing nothing to stop this crap. Alone, we run the risk of losing business, but they can’t arrest half the country.

Has the National Restaurant Association offered their full support of this?
I see that the NRA received a recent $5m grant, for youth training, from Dept of Labor.
What are they doing to get these millions of small biz restaurant owners back open, all across the country?
Some folks in Minnesota have done just that regards Gov. Walz.
Scroll down a bit for the pic. The whole post is pretty good and explains the pic as well.

This is just another way the left is attempting to shutter the middle class...by going after small biz restaurant owners.

Good for folks in PA!
Meanwhile NYS small biz knuckles under.
NONE of these thug-like restrictions on businesses ARE workable. As in ALL THINGS, let the Customers decide if they want to dine out or not.
LIBERATE AMERICA!
Speak for yourself. There’s a lot of us Republicans in Pennsylvania that DIDN’T vote for Wolf.
I always leave my nose uncovered. Yesterday I was picking up a package at my mailbox store and as I was leaving an old lady in line said “Sir, you are not wearing your mask properly...you are supposed to cover your nose as well”.
I had a Darth Vader momentwith sunglasses and mask for a helmetas I turned and paused and then simply walked out. Another customer in line gave me a sympathy pat on the shoulder as I left.

What in heck is wrong with Wolfbane? If all of PA is in the Green Phase, you would think he’d be letting them operate at 50%, at least.
