Ruptly is live from Stone Mountain Park outside Atlanta on Saturday, August 15, as right-wing groups are holding a rally at the location. In response, anti-racism groups from across the country have called to counter the protesters with a large rally on the same day.

What I saw was pretty useless. People are talking to participants. I can see more than one microphone being used, but no conversation or statements can be heard.

This is my home town. I was born and raised less than two miles from the mountain. It was practically in my back yard. I have several generations of family going back intrinsically tied with the local history.
I live far away in another state now. This whole thing is making me sick to watch.
No need for ad hominems (see FR Terms of Use, FRiend). The correct people are already at the event. The BLM/Antifa aided by their funded pals in the soros/dnc attack wing media should they somehow make entry into the park— will be the ones with the “media” present.
Just as in Charlottesville, the media management will follow the FAKE memes (Kessler will not be present as a neo-nazi “leader” when he is/was actually OccupyWallStreet/AntiFA, nor will David Duke the perpetual a@@hole opportunist).
The park is, under GA State law, with all the monuments and carvings— a protected place, and the State Police and State Park police will be there to maintain vigilance . You can be assured that any defacing attempts or goading of violence by Antifa/BLM (ActBlue) will be countered by supported police presence. This ain’t McAulliffe’s clinton bag-man’s “virginia”, where he organized with derp state va leftist federales of Brennan’s— a completely false narrative.
The only answer to this “monument” argument is— so George Washington (torn down yesterday, btw in LA) and ALL our history is to be gone? Answer: use the quote from Moochie the Wookie— “obama knows our history needs to be replaced..... (words to that effect. All over the internet). Link the BLM/AntiFA to obamaumao’s continuing Marxist agenda— as his minions are being rounded up.
The NOTABLE exception from so many others here is that the original protest group has the permits to be there... the “opposition” of the TRUE racists— the white Marxist antiFA communists and the BLM black Marxist communists working in partnership-— Do Not. By not having a permit— they can and will be arrested, and moved away, and the County sheriff also has jurisdicition. Arrested they will be.
NO opportunity to try to paint these GA heritage people as
racists. There is nothing of that sort happening. Heritage, not hate, and nothing to do with the Marxist clearly at work nationally. Not in Georgia. Georgia fights a fight, boys— Root Hog or Die!

Pissing matches between kids isn’t standing up. Showing blm/antifa/left how quickly you retreat when armed doesn’t help anything. If I show up armed and pull my weapon I intend to use it. That said I know the difference between when I will use it and a pissing match. I’m not interested in turf wars. I’m not interested in starting a shootout to make a point. When the time comes for defense I’ll do what is needed.
The park itself is closed because of this. All this activity it occurring in the “city” of Stone Mountain..there is heavy police,GSP,NG,Dept of Corrections and GBI presence
These “groups” applied for permits which were denied. The State does not want our beautiful park destroyed or misrepresented in the media any more than it already is
I have a strong suspicion you won't be showing up anywhere. So again, kudos to the brave few who did.

To the moderators and free republic I apologize for using that word. Not to the guy I said it to. Quit smoking yesterday. I don’t think he understands the repercussions of live fire in the streets and the reality it should not be taken lightly. Suggesting I am a coward in defense of his ignorance really got my goat.
