President Trump said during an exclusive Oval Office interview on Thursday that his campaign is “putting New York in play” against Democrat Joe Biden in the 2020 election.
Trump told The Post that he believes a spike in violent crime and high taxes can help him win his home state in an upset against Biden and running mate Kamala Harris.
“Over the last six months what’s happened is insane. It’s insane. So we’re going to try very hard to win New York and that will be the first time — is that since Ronald Reagan, I guess? Since Ronald Reagan,” Trump said.
“I will bring down taxes and I’ll make sure that New York City is a safe place. I mean, this is one of our cherished — this is a cherished diamond of this country. And we can’t let this happen to New York.”

If we had real news I would agree with this. Other than people who see the damage to NYC with their own eyes no one knows what a s***hole the city is becoming.
When we lost any semblance of a free and fair press the future of America was pretty much sealed.
Sorry, Donald. It won’t happen. Any New Yorkers with a brain have already left (yes, I know Hannity is still there which kinda proves my point).
He will lose the popular vote bu at least 5 percent too. but I think he ads MN and mabey NV. Blue America is now it’s own country.
Maybe he should catch up in Florida before he indulges in this fantasy.
It will be a miracle if Trump comes within 20 points in NY.

Yep. Get it out there. Get people talking about it. How else would he have a chance at NY otherwise?
Win or not, the numbers will shock the Ds. Lots of D vote have left the state and more will follow.
Ditto in California where the forced unions (AB5) will send millions of free-lancers, gig workers, to the R ballot.
I’ll not be surprised at a win in deep-blue. Who on God’s green earth would vote for what the Ds support ? Only crazy fanatics like those dwindling away on the Upper East Side.
NJ is not in play one bit. I unfortunately live here. If Trump breaks 40% it would be an accomplishment. NJ is every bit the $hithole people say it is.

Who knows? Four years ago, we were calling PA, MI and WI "fools gold" and were scolding Trump for even trying to compete in those "un-winnable" states. Many Freepers were rending their clothing and punching themselves in the face over this.
