I love earthquakes if they are not destructive. Such power is released, but no effort on God’s part. It didn’t tire Him at all.
I respect hurricanes. For us, they are frequently beneficial, bringing much needed rain to replenish the water table. Yet, they are dangerous, and often spin off tornadoes. There is nothing good from a tornado.
I remember when Camilla came through. That was a long night as we were concerned about tornadoes. Then, Katrina and the summer of many, many hurricanes. You just never know and have to be prepared.
I live inland in the southeast. Living in Florida or on the coast can be a bit adventuresome.

We were in Corpus Christi, very near the coast. Every hurricane that entered the gulf always look like it was headed straight for us. we spent six months out of every year checking weather.com constantly. Earthquakes are easier to take, let it pass then get up and pick up the glass that broke. And hope that’s it.
We only spent one summer in Corpus and then left ASAP. But it wasn’t really the Hurricanes it was the horrible humid hot weather.
There we go, being great minds again :-)
The Rs sure have a lot of young talent that we have seen the last few nights. We just need to keep them on the Trump agenda for many years & not drift back to RKNOs.
I literally took the leaf blower and used it like a hair blow dryer to dry off my front door and porch. Tomorrow I will attack the new moss and mold that has grown within the last week. It is hotter and more humid here than it is in Sentani, Papua, Indonesia, just 2.5 degrees south of the equator.
