IMHO, For many of today's teachers (but not all) being a real teacher and actually teaching students is far down their list of priorities, if on it at all.
For those that fit this description a teaching position is just an opportunity to push their own agenda.
They see young students as malleable tools they can use to further their own interests and have little interest or concern about what is best for students themselves.
It goes without saying that this attitude is far more prevalent in democrat states, cities and other strongholds.

Yes the rehab center I went to for my lymphedema has a pool and other exercise options for half the price of YMCA. But they haven’t been open because of the virus. I haven’t been able to see my primary doctor because of the virus. It’s insane.
I was supposed to find an ENT in my town. But I’m just at a standstill I’m now on medicare.
