At present it is just a deferment of the payroll tax, i.e. the federal income tax. This is from July through December, and is only federal taxes, not city or state.
If Pres. Trump is reelected in November, he will make this permanent. NO MORE FEDERAL INCOME TAX!!!! But if the socialists take power, we’ll have it all due in April.
Again, this is not whatever other taxes, on any level, are due.

If Trump remains President they will not have to repay the Social Security they were allowed to keep until their taxes are due. I believe it’s 7.65% of your gross under $100,000 only.
That kind of puts us on a more even playing field with government workers. Many don’t pay social security, if I am correct, i.e., state workers, railroad and police, etc. And, I believe that is not a real payroll “tax”, is it gub? It is forced insurance.
Is 1.45% Medicare still taken right now?
Interesting idea about dumping it. Make everyone even. Bet he goes after high retirement plans we pay for govt retirees. The 75% of the wages needs to go away.
