U.S. Mail Slowdown
Vanity
Posted on 07/30/2020 1:29:36 PM PDT by yarddog
I have received no mail for six days. I just phone the Postmaster and he said he has received maybe ten calls today.
This is a rural route.
He does not know why but they are only getting a third or fourth as much mail as they usually do.

My sister sent me a face mask.
It took six weeks.

We have those glassed cases on the walls in the service area too, but I’m not a stamp collector, so I don’t take notice of them. I usually buy the Purple Heart Forever Stamps for the things I mail out. At my local post office, I’ve noticed that nobody is stocking the postal supplies in the lobby either. I’ve been looking for the priority labels for weeks now, and no one has bothered to refresh the supplies. I may have to order some boxes and labels from the website just to have them on hand.

It’s to pssss you off. To make you mad at President Trump. He’s picking on the post office and as the liberals they are, they’re going to slow down your mail. They’re the only business I know that can take away services and expect more money.

The needed mail in ballots to defeat Trump will arrive a day or two past the election and the courts will rule they need to be included. Presto! Biden’s pick for VP will become President.

She's the only one who would excite those severely disappointed by Biden - she got cheated by the Russians, of course. /liberal idiocy on that last part
Free STD testing in the background there. How appropriate given Colin Powell's email about Bill.

So you’re rural and likely conservative and you’re not getting reliable usps service? Gonna suck for the whole mail-in-ballot thing then.

Yeah. Slow mail here, too. This time, I watched tracking on some items and found out that it’s being held up for days in the distribution centers in big cities. The stuff did eventually arrive, though.
Think maybe they’re having BLM parties in the distribution centers? Or are the more hysterical, narcissistic, maskaphobia folks who avoid going to the stores now really ordering their everyday items online?
I still go to the store, and business there has been really slow the past week and a half. That is, since the COVID-19 case rates have been going up fast again.

Actually, it does. Sorry I didn't bookmark it, but there was an interesting article on that sometime in the past few weeks. It said that many of the younger Democrats are sending mail-in ballots too late for them to be counted.

A month ago, I had a credit card payment arrive very late after 6 weeks.
Highly unusual - I had to armwrestle with the company to dismiss the exorbitant late fee.
I knew that I'd mailed it because I dropped it in the mail with my granddaughter's birthday card.

From where do you order? I ordered a bunch of fish antibotics at the very beginning of the Plannedemic Dem Panic and got mine quickly, but only because I was an old customer and got my order in pretty much the first day the media started hyping things. The next day he was sold out, and back ordered, and he said that it could be months before he could fill the new orders as his suppliers were also back ordered.
And I also get my blood pressure medicine through a Canada Pharmacy, and on my order last week, they said it might be a month or two before I get it.

-I usually get great service from the USPS, but some of the stuff I ordered a month ago took three weeks to get here, when it usually takes three days or less-
Good thing you didn’t order baby chicks.

Sign up for Informed Delivery on the USPS site. You’ll get an email with a photo of each piece of mail you should be receiving each day.
