I would have to believe that the majority of veteran Freepers are over 50. Most prolific posters.
How would we know if and when we lose our favorites, and or their family members?
No symptoms and no test so far.
I carry a 2 oz spray bottle filled with 91% rubbing alcohol.
.
Tested twice before surgeries. Both negative.
sorry to hear of your loss. stress and change can really effect our mind and choices.
I’m pretty sure me and my entire family had it back in either December or February since we all showed different symptoms. It has long since passed. We’ve shown no symptoms, therefore no reason to waste our time getting tested.
Hubby thought he had it in February, and we live in San Jose. He took antibody test and it was negative.
I am in one of the hot spot states, South Carolina. I know of no one who has tested positive, been hospitalized, or died. I have been to big box stores, dined out, coached little league games, and attended racing events. Is seeing believing or am I just a selfish neanderthal science denier?
Donated blood last week, negative.
91% rubbing alcohol.
That should kill any Covid in your mouth, throat and stomach.
The corrupt news would have you believe people are dropping like flies. I think our county has 2 people in the hospital.
I tested negative almost a month ago
Not tested yet. No reason. I stay away from crowds and take the recommended safety measures etc. I have no intention of getting that crud. So far so good.
Took my daughter, age 40, to urgent care and then to the emergency room yesterday for a kidney infection that’s been going on since May, despite 2 previous visits to the emergency room with urine cultures and CTs, & a visit with her primary care doc (another urine culture), 2 rounds of antibiotics.
The urgent care insisted on doing a Rapid Covid test on her regardless of the fact that the kidney infection isn’t from Covid.
Of course, my daughter tested negative but now she’s on “the list”. We’re grateful she was negative although we had no doubt she would test that way.
Not so sure how I feel about it, though. The official reason being reported to the insurance company that they gave for the test: “Exposure to Covid” - um, kidney infection doesn’t equate to Covid. What’s wrong with this picture??
was tested in early June prior to surgery. Negative.
DH tested about a month ago before surgery. Negative
Standardized tests are racist.
Have not been tested, but that is changing next week, as it is required for Carpal Tunnel surgery.
I’ve heard there is a newer saliva test; I suspect my local hospital is still on the nose swab. Seems to me a saliva test would be easier to “study” for...
Tested Monday for antibodies (bloodwork). Negative.
Pas moi.
A little French lingo there.
I don't use it there.
Gotta different kind of alcohol for that.
