Good morning! I am trying to be optimistic concerning this dem-panic, but it is difficult. I can't see a time-table for our return to our work outside of the US. We must be ready to leave, but, in the meantime, we must live here. Our support is suffering and the cost-of-living here is much higher. To help, I'm trying to find a remote, flexible-time, part-time job, or jobs. Day after day, we're at home. We don't go out. We don't interact personally with anyone other than family (and our family is boring!). Okay, enough whining. Hoosiermama is my example. Wow! Prayers are ascending as you work through your challenges.

Pax, you also are in my prayers. You, too, have a lot of grief to process. I hope you take things at a slow pace and not expect too much. Grief will hit you at unexpected times and places. You can't plan for it. Nonetheless, don't be surprised or embarrassed when it happens.

Vipper, are you any better? I didn't have covid and my sickness lasted from Dec. 11 through and past January 22. Please know that you haven't been forgotten.

Good Morning From Indiana. Several of our flowers are in bloom. Peobody took this beautiful picture along an Indiana road near her. They are Rose of Sharon growing wild. I have one that was given to me by a friend who dig it up early one morning along the road she travelled to work.

You must have been listening in on our cell talk last night Road Runner. Peobody and I talk about praying for our President's safety all the time. We think another big event is going on as I type. And the discussion of the (Trump family member)showing and giving us humor. Humor is good and we all know about the Trump family humor especially when they all get together. Have been following the governors order to wear masks

To add to what I told you yesterday
If you remember when Indiana challenged the voter ID laws (and won at the SCOTUS, Todd Rokita was our SoS. He is currently on the ballet for state AG. TR is one of the best constitutional scholars in the US

It is the AG’s office that is challenging the Governor’s ruling to wear a mask. I do believe that TR is behind this and is planning on taking the case to SCOTUS. That ruling will have an enormous impact on all states and governors. It’s for sure no blue state would challenge such a ruling so why not Indiana with Rokita’s background.
Btw Todd and Mike are long time friends. Iirc used to ride their bikes around the state campaigning together.

You have so many talents. I was wondering if you ever thought of joining the Etsy group. You could make beautiful dried flower bookmarks and other items and sell. This can be done either here in the US or wherever you live. A short bible verse on a bookmark or a small picture to hang in ones kitchen or bedroom. Or if you do needle work or knitting...I'm sure with your talent you could really do well. Flowers from your other home would really be pretty. Hopefully this will get your imagination going. I buy from Etsy quite often.
