Think about what you are asking. As in most towns if not ALL the mayor of the town picks pretty much his police force. And I would think many of these policemen are or were Democrats. Police Union supported the Democrats. YOU asking asking Democrats to walk out. NO they are instead retiring to save face. Sadly, they got what they paid for and backed. I'm sure I'll hear an ear full on this post BUT it is what it is! I can't for the life of me feel sorry for them and their situation. We are in this terrible mess because of people like them blindly supporting the Party of Evil and destruction to our great United States Of America!

I’m not asking them to strike or quit, but I’m surprised they aren’t. Maybe many of the cops are Dims. Either way, they are standing there at best getting very ally assaulted & at worst physically assaulted with no support from their Mayor or apparently, higher ups. They cannot properly do the job as they were trained to do & thus are put in a positionwhere their lives are at more of a risk.

They formed a union to have collective power. The only way for them to hope to improve their situation, would be band together & strike. No matter what party they may be, no person can take this kind of abuse. Especially now that their budget is getting cut.
