Unpopular opinion: white people love dogs so much because deep down they miss owning slaves. They love the owner and master dynamic, desperate for something to control.
Don’t think we should have cats either. No reason to own any animal. If you have a service animal that’s great but otherwise why do you need an animal?

I had a kitty that would do that!
In the kitchen, I have an old sideboard
that I use as a pantry for canned goods, etc.
She knew her kitty food was kept in there, and
whenever I rummaged around in there, she’d
always come running. I always asked her if she
wanted to “go shopping.”
After she learned that, she would come running
to the sideboard when I yelled,”Hey Minette!”
“Do you want to go shopping?”
She would then push around the canned goods in the cupboard!
I miss her so much!
Not a doggie story, but thought you might get a chuckle
out of it!

Had a friend whose cat would sit on counter next to refrigerators and SCREAM very clearly the word “HAM”. Her owner opened fridge door and gave her a small piece of ham every time she wanted one. Talk about one spoilt Fat KAT.
