That guy is great! Italians were discriminated against, Irish and Jews and Catholics.
In Virginia City there is a beautiful Catholic church I visited, and had the pleasure of meeting some monks. They said the Irish Catholics fled Ireland because of discrimination, and were not welcomed in America. So they traveled all the way to Nevada where they were able to build their church and worship in peace.
