Anyone who actually READ the thread would know that I made a strong case for my position.
I dissected polling methods and explained why the dynamic today favors Trump more that in 2016.
I wasn't "wrapping myself in 2016 nostalgia and whistling past the graveyard." Therefore the person resorted to the tried-and-true leftist tactic of dismissing everything I said as pure stupidity.
Well, ANOTHER aspect of this campaign absolutely assures @realDonaldTrump of reelection.
THE DEMOCRATS ARE TELLING US TO VOTE FOR HIM. "A return to normalcy," they say, as they support total abnormality.
This is a cargo-cult version of the Algerian Strategy, which James Mattis wouldn't know if it sat on his face.
The Algerian Strategy is when a government COVERTLY supports a terrorist movement in order to force the beleaguered people to rally around the unpopular government.
It was originated by the Algerian government during the Algerian Civil War of 1991 to 2001.
The government SECRETLY supported the maniacs of the Armed Islamic Group (Groupe Islamique Armé or GIA).
The motto of the GIA was "No agreement, no truce, no dialogue."
If you can believe it, they were worse than the Islamic State.
As savage as the Islamic State was, they provided services as a rudimentary country.
All the GIA did was kill.
When the GIA hijacked an Air France jet, the French GIGN simply stormed the aircraft and killed them.

Almost nobody accurately reports what actually happened.
GIGN snipers kept up a continuous barrage of fire while the entry team engaged the terrorists with .357 magnum pistols and hand grenades.
The men in the aircraft would call for the sniper fire to momentarily stop:
Then a commando with a pistol would race into the cockpit, shoot terrorists, and retreat.
The sniper fire resumed.
Using this tactic, all four terrorists were killed over a 20-minute firefight.
NO PASSENGERS WERE KILLED.
Now, the trick to the Algerian Strategy is to COVERTLY, SECRETLY, CLANDESTINELY support the terrorists.
The DEMOCRATS ARE OPENLY SUPPORTING the terrorists as they call for a return to normalcy, i.e. no more terrorism.
So the voters will automatically choose Trump.
All the retired generals and admirals, the Democrats, the press, and academia are OPENLY supporting the terrorists as they tell us we need to vote for a return to no terrorism.
THEY'RE SAYING, "VOTE FOR TRUMP!"
It's absolutely mind boggling. A secondary message is this:
"Vote for us, or we'll keep up with the terrorism!"
