More disturbing best revenge movie, Joker. Not in a good revenge way... if there is such. But cant be discounted.

I was just about to post the same thing; “Man on Fire” is one of my favorite movies, and IMHO one of Washington’s finest performances.

Spenser Confidential. Jack Reacher. Maybe not revenge so much, but he kicked rears and took names.

He was more of an anti-hero and/or villain, and never got Kirk in the end, but he certainly made Kirk suffer long and hard for the death of his wife.......

Havent seen Spencer Confidential yet Mark Wahlberg, and Winston Duke beat knobs on some heads. His girlfriend had a lot of spunk.
I just watched Black and Blue, a couple days ago. I always loved Naomie Harris (Moneypenny) It looks like it was a small amount of revenge, but mostly her, trying not to get done in. 😁

I have only seen the remake of “Last House on the Left” & also about 6 years ago the remake of ISOYG. I really want to see the original Last House.

You both win. Rewatched it last week. Sergio Leone’ directing was genius. I remember my first time watching: he made me certain that Jack Elam was going to shoot that damn fly. “Did you make coffee?”

I was going to mention “Payback” with Mel Gibson. I also like “The Count of Monte Cristo” with Jim Caviezel.

Few Sequels are as good or better than the original.
a. Terminator 2 better than 1
b. Star Trek 2 better than 1
I just can’t see how the sequel to 2016 will be near anywhere as good as the original. The shock value to both sides can’t be equaled and the loser was set up as the greatest.
