I’m starting to think that it isn’t as simple as Sessions is bad or Sessions is good.
The President can be quite critical of Sessions for recusing and appearing to hang POTUS personally out to dry. And the Q team in general, including PDJT, can still be very happy with the work that AG Sessions started and WAS able to perform in the areas from which he was not recused. Perhaps it’s this work that the team wants us to trust Sessions for.
Those two ideas are not mutually exclusive.

Trump’s criticisms of Sessions are all optics, from everything I can tell. We may not know the total picture yet. In fact, for sure we don’t.
I found a bit more about Sessions’ recusal but will post later.
I think Rogers is the Final authority. He knew what happened. he pointed it out. Now he has to stay clear and Impartial. He is going to backup “everything” that Flynn is going to expose. Flynn is doing his job well. Half the people will not believe him but Rogers will seal the deal.

That is another compelling point. You have not completely won me to that perspective, but certainly nothing is wrong with your reasoning. It should be considered as a possibility. I was shocked when Trump did not endorse him.
All is possible Tex - we bat it back and forth and in the end we understand better than if we are isolated by ourselves. Some interpretations are more likely than others as a matter of opinion of course.
