Leaked Chinese Virus Database Covers 230 Cities, 640,000 Updates
New information may offer insight into the honesty of China’s coronavirus numbers.

While not fully comprehensive, the data is incredibly rich: There are more than 640,000 updates of information, covering at least 230 cities—in other words, 640,000 rows purporting to show the number of cases in a specific location at the time the data was gathered. Each update includes the latitude, longitude, and “confirmed” number of cases at the location, for dates ranging from early February to late April.

The symptoms most commonly reported by patients affected by coronavirus disease (COVID-19) include cough, fever, and shortness of breath. However, other major events usually observed in COVID-19 patients (e.g., high blood pressure, arterial and venous thromboembolism, kidney disease, neurologic disorders, and diabetes mellitus) indicate that the virus is targeting the endothelium, one of the largest organs in the human body. Herein, we report a systematic and comprehensive evaluation of both clinical and preclinical evidence supporting the hypothesis that the endothelium is a key target organ in COVID-19, providing a mechanistic rationale behind its systemic manifestations.

The paper referenced states viral loads were similar in asyies and symptomatics. Droplet shedding is less because of child’s lung capacity but, same as adults, risk appears highest with close and extended contact; most shedding occurring in the first week of becoming infected:

LOL - I think it takes more than one virion. :) But I do like the point of being mindful of flooring, which is probably the biggest hotspot after doorknobs. We have carpeting in most rooms which theoretically should dry out the virus pretty quickly. But the ‘modern’ trend is bare floors, which hold the virus longer.

Not a bubble is what my stupid neighbors just did - party at one house with 15 adults and assorted kids, then days later visiting, with some of those same kids, another house not at the party. That’s how people get sick.
So it’s not going to work for the stupid. But for thinking adults, it answers the problem of lack of social contact at the same time making contact tracing pretty easy.
And, most important, if one of the bubble friends gets sick, the others know immediately and can start preliminary treatment, possibly heading off more serious illness. Remembering our early cases were people who waited until they were on death’s doorstep before they sought treatment, with notsogood outcomes because of the time delay.

It makes better sense to limit travel inter-state from hotzones. Stay in your own county, in your own state, don’t let sick people work (like at the meat packers where the ethnics covered up for each other) and carry yourself back to work so you can build up your bank account for the winter wave when you may be forced to quarantine again. People here and in the EU are acting like there’s a moneytree outside the back door - but that money tree is our grandchildren’s debt.
