careful - there’s a whole study area in math about incongruities. I provide an example:

1/3+2/3=1

1/3=.3333 to infinity
2/3=.6666 to infinity

.333 to inf + .666 to inf = .99999999 to infinity

so that means .999999 to infinity = 1, but yet it isn’t

I don’t see any incongruity.
You are equating 2 different scales.
Math says you are wrong.

Additional incongruity -- People talk about π R 2 but, in fact, most pies are round.

A weakness of the decimal system. With fractions, it’s easy to see that 1/3 + 2/3 = 1. With decimals, you only get a close (extremely close) approximation.
