In my area, more than 60% of the restaurant is closing for good. Remaining 40% are chain restaurants.
I think it must have to do with her defamation lawsuit against the NYT

Restaurants closing. Can’t survive the temporary loss of income.
The shame is that when demand returns- so will those restaurants. Only under new ownership.
That’s why Trump is trying to save those owners.

Ed Henry said what we’d heard earlier today. Clapper had been lying about Russia wanting Trump to win. There’s evidence that Russia wanted Hillary to win because “she’s a known quantity” to Russia. So even though Clapper knew that, he hid it. Even worse, he lied and said that Russia wanted Trump to win. Internal CIA people warned him against doing that, but he did anyway.

Will American mom and pop restaurants be displaced by the middle easterners that pass their businesses on to family members?
In our area, there are lot of Chinese, Indians, Vietnam, Mexicans, and Korean restaurants.
Indians, Vietnam, and Mexican restaurant may come back. Chinese will have a hard time to survive. Trust is gone.
