If I cant eat it, drink it or clean with it, its not in my budget right now, lol. I quit coloring my hair years ago. Im nearly all grey/white now, and I asked my son If I should color again. He told me that white is in, so I guess Im cool. Who knew?
“People leaving Guayaquil, Ecuador after government let up lockdown 2 days ago. (Estimated 12k fatalities there)”
Guayaquil is warm and humid year-round, with a pronounced rainy season JanApr. April high is 89F and low is 75F.
I guess it takes temperatures in the upper 90s to kill the coronavirus.
New York City is 8.3 Million.
Guayaquil is 2.2 Million
Kevin “Lion Whisperer” Richardson who runs a lion/leopard/hyena sanctuary in South Africa recently did a youtube video on coronavirus in lions. Several of his “managed” rescue lions tested positive. He was initially concerned but the vet says lions can get the virus and not be affected much by it. Sometimes it can progress into pneumonia and kill the lion. One of Kevin’s lions, Bongani, did get ill with pneumonia and almost died, but through special diet and supplements they were able to save him. Here’s a link to this very educational episode, which shows Kevin’s very unique relationship with his sanctuary animals.

I still color my hair. I’m vain.
But compared with the time I spent on my appearance a quarter century ago, by the time I’m another quarter century older it will be nonexistent.
I’m not ready for gray hair yet.
I will be eventually, just not right now.
I wear a mask to the store in case I have my own viral load asymptomatically, so that there is something that will attenuate the virus coming out of me. I won’t fool myself thinking that will be eliminate it completely, but it should cut it down to some extent. I certainly know that a mask won’t keep me from getting it, since it can get in through my eyes, and some of it can get through the mask, of course.
The last time I had my hair colored was the week before Thanksgiving. I was due to have it done again (my hair grows really slowly) sometime the end of February. Wasn’t going to happen then.
So now I wait.
I don’t dare do it myself, the last time I tried it turned orange :(
I don’t wear one outside, but knowing I could leave a viral load in the air helps to remind me to do a wide berth around other people in the park.
oh helltothe NO!
Just give everyone emerging from 30-days sequester, a purple thumb. I hear from the Afganis it lasts a good two weeks and is hypoallergenic.
how the blazes does one mess up a q-tip? Stick. glue. cotton. done.
And why is it that the busom buddies of China don’t get defective thingys, but every other western country does?
that’s the best bear picture since trampoline bear!
I bet you use the same soap in the shower and wash your butt with it and then your face and you don’t see anything wrong. ewe gross. JK /s
I don’t know.
SMH.
The effect is significant. It divides the risk by five for ambulatory patients and by four for those admitted to hospital”
.
I’ll take a wild guess. The nicotine monopolizes the ACE-2’s, making a ‘free table’ harder for the virus to find?
ok, another one - nicotine is a pesticide and adapts as a systemic pesticide - ivermectin is also a pesticide (parasiticide) so is nicotine acting in a manner similar to ivermectin?
Nope.
It’s also an antimicrobial. And smoking alters the microbiome of the entire respiratory tract including lowering the prevalence of prevotella.
dang, no bet.
You found the common thread. Flu Bros are all ex Chipotle workers. Lol.
