You are right about tourists, though. That stuff should be right out.

Flooring could be essential if there’s any kind of a flood or something. But getting a job done on the floors just because you’re stuck at home, no. How could they know the difference, so it should be OK to buy.

I've had to make some adjustments. One last night, was to use the median of the last two daily fatality index numbers in projecting future spread, instead of just the latest.

And basically, since the US is trailing Korea, Italy, and others, I use their DFI track to give me an idea of when/where the US should hit its own barrier, or where we kind of hang for awhile until we can break below it.

For both Korea and Italy, that was about a 3 on my DFI scale. Which is a daily 3% increase in new deaths, everyday. Not that many if a country's total deaths are low like Korea, but huge for say Italy with total deaths in the thousands. America will be at a whole nother level.

Do you know anything about the post office slowdowns? I’m waiting for a salary check for the two weeks ending March 6 that supposedly was mailed a week ago.

My local post office says you just have to wait.

Doorman says our local post office is OK but it could be coming from a post office that has closed down. His encouraging note was that the ones that were closed down are starting to open back up again.

CDC director warns US needs to plan ‘agressively’ for coronavirus return in winter

by Mike Brest
| April 15, 2020 04:00 PM

The head of the Centers for Disease Control is warning the United States should expect to see a revitalization in the coronavirus pandemic as the weather gets colder toward the end of the year.

During a Wednesday interview on Good Morning America, Dr. Robert Redfield predicted that similar to other respiratory viruses that are more prominent in the colder months, the coronavirus will return.

“I think we have to assume this is like other respiratory viruses, and there will be a seasonality to it,” Redfield stated.

“The CDC is science-based, data-driven, [so] until we see it, we don’t know for certain [there will be a resurgence],” he added. “But it is critical that we plan that this virus is likely to follow a seasonality pattern similar to flu, and we’re going to have another battle with it upfront and aggressively next winter.”

Jesus.

I have seen some talk of CCP-19 being more of a blood disease than a respiratory disease, and that it functions in a manner similar to cyanide poisoning.
